Not all plastic gallon milk jugs are the same

There are mainly two brands of milk that I buy depending on which is on sale that week(I drink roughly a gallon a week) that are both sort-of store brands. One is definitely a store brand and the other is only in one supermarket chain but the store also has one with its actual name as well as the one I get. Anyway, one of these tends to have less calcium flaking and has a cap that you twist to separate it from a safety ring that stays on the jug; it also has more threads than the other brand which makes it easier to screw the cap back on firmly. The cap on the other brand has a little tab that you pull to remove the safety ring and that is then thrown away. What is your experience with milk jugs and their differences?
