So as always, I was cleaning my house the other day. I was vacuuming under my couch, and of course I sucked some panties, socks, and a slip from under the couch. But I also heard something else get sucked up the vacuum that didn't sound like clothing. It sounded hard. So I opened up the vacuum and it was a diamond earing I had sucked up! I don't ever remember having it and it isn't any of my friends and famlies, so I took it to a pawn shop and got $100 :). I was happy! That money could replace some of the stuff I suck up with the vacuum!

That is really a good find. I never suck up anything like that in a vacuum. Good for you. I think the most I have sucked up is a sock or coins.

hi cleanlotz wow what a find and a clear one hundred. that was your really lucky day. That reminds me of the time our neighbor told my husband that if my hubby would buy the parts for our international harvester pick up he would put them in for nothing. So we drove to the parts store with a list of the parts that were needed and to'our disappointment we were short nearly two hundred dollars. well on my way back to the passenger side of the pickup I stubbed my toe on something, and bent down to see what it was.under the small rock was a wad of paper money. I picked it up, and we counted it. two hundred dollars even. we first asked the other people parked there if they were missing any money, then went inside and asked the owner of the store. nobody claimed that money so we bought the parts, had out pickup really up to snuff and had enough to take us all out to dinner. Someone was looking out for us, so I know there is a much higher power.

Did you actually vacuum up those pieces of clothing from under the couch? Finding the diamond earring turned out well for you, but I would have been real curious of where it came from. I have never vacuumed up pieces of clothing or jewelry. About the only thing I have done was get the corner of a blanket caught in the vacumm, but didn't even have to open it up to get that out, just turned it off and pulled it out.
