I know there are loads of animal lovers out there. I think this video will be right up your alley.

I think the playful woodlands creature is gaining valuable experience in this playing with the dog, don't you think? Just like puppies and kittens learn from play fighting, I think this little deer is learning a great deal chasing and being chased, standing and confronting (albeit, playfully), retreating and approaching. All skills he'll need when he's fully grown. This is a pretty cool thing to watch. Makes me wish I lived more in the country to have a chance to see something like this.
How about you?

Another Great Video clip there Jerz!! So cute!!!
It's clear that these two have become so used to each other and are fast friends
( for now ) at least...
The little deer's hooves will soon become much sharper and could easily hurt the playful lab...
I kept expecting the young deer to run into the fence you know? It won't be long
that it will be able to jump out of that penned in yard area.
Wonderful to see animals like that playing with each other..
what am I doing up so early you ask? Been sick the last couple of days ( not fun)
not fun at all.
Thanks for sharing with us this amazing video clip Girlfriend...

hi jerzgirl thanks thats so sweet and cute, and they really did not attack each other, they learned to play together which is so different as some dogs would have just attacked that pretty little deer, the deer too showed some moves they use when the adults are protecting themselves. I once while on vacation in Banff Alberta Canada was putting out garbage into bins behind the tourist cabin we had rented, when lo and behold I was surrounded by deer, female and male with antlers and all, for a moment I was afraid but stood my ground as they seemed more interest in the table scraps I was about to throw away, so I put them down all around me and some of the does stood on hind legs with hooves up like that but did not hurt me, as I made a quick but not abrupt move to the cabin. I learned from the managers of the tourist camp that it was a daily thing for this group of deer to come down expecting handouts. Odd but thats what they did.

Thanks for posting this funny video. I enjoyed watching the deer playing with the black dog. I think its a Labrador. It shows us than animals make no discrimination between themselves. They were engaged in playing and having fun.
