have you reached that point when you will say to yuorself, i am getting bored doing the things i sued to enjoy the most like you would wished that you have done something else before that you may like more doing for a very long time than the same things you are doing up to now. i would say i have reached that point. i am tired of doing same things online of what i have been doing for a long time. though no matter how helpful and how it benefits me to do those same things i still feel that they are not working any more for me. it is not doing me any good that much unlike before i would be so excited to do them every day. i was looking forward to do same things every day and never thought i would get tired of them one day. but now i know that i have got tired of the same things. wish that i have some new things to do from time to time to keep my energy high and my motivation high.

Sounds like you need to get out. Try a long walk. Do you have anything by your hous fun like a like or something to sit by and enjoy the birds and sun? I think we all get like this from time to time. I think its worse this time of year being cooped up all winter

Well, when I was in high school, I got tired of doing the same things everyday. I wake up so early in the morning just to go to school. I get so irritated when I wake up so early. And when I get to school, same people, same terror teachers, same boring and difficult subjects, I wanted to run away into a different place and have a new life! I've got so many problems when I'm in school, and I'll come home tired and I still have to do the homeworks. And I'll sleep late at night and I'll wake up early again the next morning, that was tiring! I was so sick of that routine and I was like that everyday.

Yes, I get bored with routine..and sometimes I just feel like giving up altogether and just hibernate for a few months.. I need peace and tranquility very much..and so far, I've managed to achieve that. Only to come back fresh each time. Right now, I'm getting busy once more..and I'm trying to see if I can fit in a hobby or two.. just for energizing myself. I am thankful for the things and people in my life, but there's this adrenaline pumping wanting for more.. so maybe I should take up a sport, or an active activity or some sort.

sometimes, i feel so tired not only from work but from people surrounding me in the office. good thing for workers like me, we can have time to take be absent and take some days of leave. but it does have to be a long vacation, as i don't feel i have to retire or resign from work, it's so hard to look for a new job these days. but i don't think i would think of getting tired or bored with mylot. one thing that is already in my daily life routine.

i guess if were doing the same things again and again the whole life then perhaps its really boring. like theres to much things to do but we cant coz we are busy with our dialy work nor task. and also for the fact that we have lack of money to spend. thats also the reason why i keep on resigning from work because i feel so bored doing the same things, now i feel bad about it coz i dont have job and im pregnant so i guess i really must appreciate whatever i have as all job are the same, i mean even if i apply for another job im sure i will also going to do the same thing again and again everyday instead of staying to it.

As long I'm earning I will never get tired of what I'm doing its motivate me more to do more. Right now I don't have a job for two years now. And I have a routine jobs doing same thing always. I hope I can do more to earn more. But right now I'm earning 15 dollars a week. So low. If I earn 15 dollars a day then its a good thing to me. That what make me moves.

Hm, interesting. Except unlike you, it is not that wished I'd been doing something else. I am just getting tired of somethings. MyLot gives me serentity so will likely always be kicking around here for sometime to come. Often time however, other things, offline, get me so wrapped up and busy that I am checked out of here for a bit but I always return, burning up the keyboard. Usually responding and rating more that posting new discussions though. Since the New year, I have dropped some things that I was active in. Others I have wanted to contribute to but just haven't yet but want to. Time will tell and perhaps soon I can get back to those things, online that I have been meaning to get too. Especially when I am paying annual fees. re: domains etc. Crazy letting it just sit but time is an issue. This time of year takes me outside a lot. Some things out there can not wait or I will miss what I hope will be a lucrative growing season. As an avid gardener, there is much to be done, now and into the next several months to prepare to reap the fruits of labor. So off I go for now. I think that the bottom line is being able to create a nice balance of online activity and off line activity so to keep your mind active and remain enthusiastic. For me, to tend to things online, I must find a quiet moment, usually early morning or at night, after work has been done. That way I am more productive both online and off. Never do something that bores you as it will show in your work. Instead, maybe try changing your routine/schedule so that the timing is more suitable for your frame of mind at those times. I hope that you find the space that works best for you so that you will regain your excitement to continue on with that which is useful for you and drop the things that just are not working for you anymore. Cheers.

I feel that way about housework. That's probably why my housework seldom gets done. Have you tried writing a review? That might make things more interesting for you.

Hi hotsummer, Doing the same job for a long hours everyday usually make use tired of it and easily get bored. I have such experience when I was working at the call center before. It was Pizza Hut call center actually. My job started at 9.45 am to 8.00 pm. But sometimes we need to work until 11.00 pm or 11.30 pm usually during week ends and public holiday. Even though the rules is not very strict because you can read newspaper or doing something else when it is not at peak hours, but it is boring after working the same old routine everyday. Pick up the call, placing order, listen to the customer complain (and swearing), follow the order taking step and so on and so on. Finally I make a decision to resign and try to look for something new.

It happened to me last year. I end up resigning and look for another challenging job. I was not happy anymore. It always seems like a burden in going there so i quit. That was not a wise decision but still I was happy after that.

You've got to keep it interesting. I mean, what you choose to do has to be interesting from time to time so you won't get bored easily. Take up sports. It'll drain you like crazy but It might get your interest fired up as well.

I did experienced that. I was so bored that it seems like I need to drag myself into going to work everyday. It took me 3 months before I finally told myself that I had to get out. Right now it seems like I'm heading to the same direction. I don't want to quit my job because I'm going to be starting a family soon so I tried thinking of ways that can help me get back my motivation. I joined a club at work where we organize the parties and other activities in the office that is not related to work, I also listed a few things that I wanted to buy out of savings from my salary and of course I tried going out more and spending some time with friends after work like going to movies together once a month and having dinner once a month too. It's like something else to look forward when going to work. You guys, have you thought of fighting the urge to get bored at work?
