Hello. No, i didn't get out from the cave or bed saying to myself "vote gordon"
Nope. I did research, but not just him but with all the candidates. Presidential debates,Forums, and lastly interviews from television you name it. articles can be half true or not, some are much more true but fanatics refused to believed it.
Surveys? first time i realized that surveys are just a BUST! and only manipulating the masses. i have heard a lot from volunteers who are campaigning heard from others that i want to vote for him but we prefer to vote for ***** just to defeat ***** or simply he was low on surveys, and wants to go with the band wagon. surveys are supposed to help people know the facts; good/bad and not the method of brainwashing people.
here is his stand on that..

Why i want him to lead our country? simple, he has the experience and it's all in the track record. he wants motivate people and make them do what most people think is impossible. he turned Subic,Olongapo from rubble from Lava to an export zone, Wow Philippines made more foreigners aware of our tourist spots, and made a lot of laws and one of them is the automated election act. TO HELL WITH THE SURVEYS.
well, i guess you should hear it from him.

With regards to the other candidates backing out on debates/refusing invitation to debates are already -1000 points for me. meaning they don't want to stand on pressure from media and ordinary people who wants to get to know they're answer to issues. there's no doubt that in my mind, what's wrong with having a debate, unless you're hiding something/ you might slip your tongue. DEBATES are the true Political Arena for candidates .

I am not asking you to vote for him. i have said that in another discussion. but i am telling you WHY am I voting for him, regardless of the election results. i am doing still abit of campaigning out side the house. that i never done before during 2004 elections.

My Vote is not a waste. that's what ELECTION is all about, voting the one you want because they're competent and has the experience, and not because they're popular in surveys, endorsements, commercials and ads.
our facebook fan page had been banged with trolls and negative people but they are always and also welcomed unlike in other pages. some are converted but some are just there to mess around, that's when i got the impression if so called "troll job"
Godbless.

Wow, you ARE so into this! But this is great. You are showing to the world that you have a stand and you have a choice.
Seems like there are people who WILL really vote for him.
I just happened to read one responder who will vote for Noy2x inorder for Villar not to win. Hmmmm....what about voting for Gordon instead so that Villar won't win? Same principle.
They're playing off the candidates like it's a game of chess. Too much scheming. So now, it's not voting to make a candidate win, but voting so that the other candidate won't win!
Shrugs....fantastic.

They are basing their votes on the popularity of a candidate, or the winning-likeability. People like them need to be presented with the accomplishments of our candidate for them to see that the kind of president we need is not just someone popular. There are many ways to beat Villar, not just Noynoy.

I see you have added some more videos. I will also vote for Gordon, my friend. I hate those people saying their vote will be wasted if they vote for Gordon even though they truly want him to be the next president.
Anyway I urge you to watch D!ck Gordon's video with Moymoy Palaboy lip syncing and dancing the Jungle Song. Good luck to all of us I hope everyone will vote wisely

Hello Hexeduser,
I am so glad that you have strongly considered voting for him. bad news is that my pc crash again for the second time. i feel sad and disappointed to know that people are not smart enough to criticize them, they prefer on surveys, celebrity's endorsements and others. but never considered platforms or how they answered issues :D

One thing's for sure, everyone has his own choices.. its just that you prefer Gordon that other presidential candidate.. but their excessive campaigning will really help in gathering votes for the upcoming election.. personally, I still don't have a candidate to vote in mind.. ^^

I am glad that most of my friends here are for gordon, although i can understand they're reason, i find it unacceptable because we know that the one leading the survey isn't doing good at all in debates or answering issues.
by the way, have you watch the The song. you should also watch the movie links that i put in the discussion.

i am proud of you buddy. because you are so open to tell the world who is your bet, even in the earlier days of the campaign period. of course, we all have our own bets, but not everyone is so open like you and some are still undecided until this time, and yours truly is one of those still undecided. but come May 10, for sure, we have to make our decision by going in the poll places. i agree with one who said, i will vote for Gordon or Gibo, just to make sure Villar won't win. And I will add, I will make win a candidate with my conscience. i say this, that even if my bet won't win in May, at least i voter with my conscience. what i believe who will lead the country the best. i just hope Villar won't make it. he will be the worst nightmare of the Filipinos for the next 6 years.

Hello neildc,
I've heard that Gibo has a strong presence there in Cebu. well, good for him that media is still reporting stuff about him, unlike my candidate, but i hope we make a good surprise this election. absentee voting in hongkong and other parts of the country had started now. @marvz023 (189)

i really feel relieved that there are also lots of people voting for gordon. here in cebu, its either teodoro or aquino. villar, erap and others are more like nuisance candidate. i am going for gordon all-out, but the problem is that i am wasting my vote as to most colleagues of mine would say... but im going for gordon for sure, not only because i agree to your research but i am a witness to gordon's achievement in olongapo as well.

hello marvz,
wasting your vote? tell them that they're the ones wasting they're vote because they go with the flow and not going for the best qualified. these people don't realize what's future is at stake here. those candidates don't have a specific plans for the country, some can state the real issues but initiatives are still in doubt.

I will also vote for Gordon. My reasons are because before all of this media hype and mudslinging of other candidates, my mind has been set on voting for him. I was able to visit and see Olongapo in the early nineties when he was still mayor and afterwards SBMA administrator. It was only in Olongapo that you had to observe traffic rules. I only hope that he wins, but then again a lot of Filipinos vote based on popularity.

Hello anne25penn,
Majority are either stupid, brainwashed by money/offers or simply because they didn't have the time to THINK. we did visit subic on our field trip when i was a kid but i accidentally poop in the shower room which really made me nervous because they are indeed strict there but luckily i was able to get out being noticed
. the place was beatiful when he was just mayor, but i've heard they're also trash there but not as worst as NCR
thank you for supporting him. @rsa101 (40966)

Hello Rsa
,
I like his honesty, this proves that he won't steal because he's not even using his money to campaign. he did conduct a fund raising dinner before to get funds, trouble is that he's running out of money. but i believe in him.
the greatest part is that he's not even afraid of loosing, he can just move on with his life as a volunteer in the red cross.
there will be time for other candidates but there won't be another Gordon.

hi there LetranKnight, your truly a Gordon Supporter. I appreciate your discussion.hmmm but still I stand in my opinion, I dont care who will win as long as not villar, we are giving our votes to noy2x aquino for villar not to win.here in cebu we have a common opinion.if 60 percent are pro noy2x for villar its 80% anti villar.
Im sorry to tell you friend, as much as we would love Gordon but he really have no mechanism especially in the provinces he is not known.
Thanks and happy mylotting..

I too will vote for Gordon and Bayani. I was not really that much involve or concern in politics before but with the presidential election coming up, me and my husband take active participation in campaigning for them in our small way. I am a Marikena and my husband had a chance to live in Subic for 2 years and we believe in what these two candidates can do.
We do not need a president who uses the poor people just to get them in the position. I do not even believe that they can do something about poverty. What we need are leaders who will instill discipline to people, make the poor people work their butts off, put order in the country.

That's the true spirit of democracy. That's right, you should not let surveys influence you. It's good that you did your research. I am still in the process of deciding, although I am already sure that Fernando is my VP even though the surveys show he is way behind the other candidates. Like you, I am also considering Gordon because he has turned Subic around. However, I am wary of the Gordon dynasty, but all the candidates are from dynasties or trying to form dynasties, so I'm still working through this issue.
But I disagree that surveys are a bust and are merely manipulating the masses. It has a lot of value for the candidates as it is a barometer as to how much more work needs to be done. For the most part, surveys are accurate. Just do your own mini-survey and most of the time it will reflect the same results. I usually do that, ask the man on the streets for his opinion, like the ice cream vendor or the taxi driver. Makes for a great conversation. We should keep everything in perspective though. It is wrong to vote though because he is on top of the surveys. That's the bandwagon mentality, and sometimes the bandwagon can go nowhere. We should vote wisely, that is, get to know the candidates well.

Hello advocate,
maybe i should have been more specific in the surveys, yes it's a bit accurate but it's also manipulating people, those who wanted to vote gordon are being tempted or push to vote for Noynoy because they feel they might waste they're vote and that is not good perception on a voter. it's better that we could request two things:
*voters education on colleges and universities
*banning on surveys with regards to political candidates, primarily on Presidentiables.
I don't think Gordon is into political dynasties, PEOPLE are the ones choosing and not the family of the candidate,so how can it be dynasty. still, it ends with the people's decision and not imposed by the government whom they should elect.
He made it clear that there's no such thing as dynasty, Kate gordon lost the second time where she re-run again for mayor of olongapo. no one imposed her to be mayor, otherwise, it would be violation of the constitution, so how can it be dynasty? people think it's dynasty because it's the people who are loyal and vote for..that's why these two solutions should apply to gain more mature voters in choosing the candidate.
thanks.
