.... for some months and was in credit here by about $5.60. As you can see, I'm now back, but my credit here has gone from around $5.60 to nothing. I wonder as to how a persons money can be legally taken away from their account when they have been away for whatever reason. We all work hard to earn the precious little we get from our posts and comments here, and to have it illegally taken by, I presume mylot I feel is grossly unfair and a good way for them to loose members. What are your opinions on this,? do you think it's fair, or not.?

Hi crazy1, I think there is nothing fair in this world. In most cases of the fairness, someone would be the victim and they would feel it unfair for them has to face the consequences. But I think myLot has done a good works and they did not simply take our money for no reason. They give us a whole 90 days (3 consecutive months) to just log-in (no need to participate in the discussions or anything else) to avoid our earnings being fortified. And I think it is enough time for everyone. Of course we would feel angry and unfair if our earnings gone but we need to look the reason behind this. We can not simply blame everyone for it.

Not everyone is getting blamed for this. I have had a couple of friends who were members here, both were involved in a car accident, no fault of their own and they were both then in hospital for close to 18 months, they then had to continue physiotherapy once they got home. Is it fair or right that they loose their income here because of a car accident that wasn't their fault,? I don't think it is, and they are still not well enough to come online yet as they are now permanently brain damaged, they could've used the small amount of money earnt here too.

I am sorry to heard about your friends. It is indeed a tragic accident. But we need to follow the rules and there rules are there and we agree with it upon sign it up. Of course it is unfair to your friends as I would feel the same thing if I was in their place but nothing can be changed. Rules is rules and we need to follow it. As I said before, life is unfair. There is nothing fair in this world. In every deals, someone must paid for it. Maybe not to those who is directly involved in those deals but people who has to face the consequences of the deals.

I find it fair because you were not active. And it was not illegally taken from you because it states in the terms of use that "All unpaid earnings become unqualified when account has no activity in the past 3 months." Sorry for your lost, but next time you should read the terms of use.

So, because a person is hospitalised for a lengthy period, you think a persons earnings should be taken away.? I had been relying on earnings from here and elsewhere to help buy food and pay my bills, this is now one less amount I can no longer relly on. I think mylots TOS need looking into and changing ...

If you were hospitalized then you should contact mylot and tell them why you were absent so long and ask them if they could give you your money back. If they don't it isn't a big deal since it's not hard to earn money here because all you have to do is post.

It is fair, rules are rules, and when you agree with the rules you have to follow. Or unfair if you're kind of ill about to die haha, and so, it's not so fair. But I really think this is a pretty hard thing to happen, really really.

It seems my point has been missed. Everyone seems to be saying, 'the rules say this,' The question I am trying to ask fellow members here is, 'do you think it a fair rule.?' A stay, or several stays in hospital are things we do no expect to happen to us. If we decide not to come here for whatever reason, that is a consdious decision on our part. An enforced stay in hospital for health reasons is not a conscious decision. If we have two broken legs, we have to stay in hospital until the broken legs are better and we're walking again. If a diabetic like me goes into a diabetic coma, we stay in hospital a while until Doctors consider us better, the list goes on. IMO, this rule should have some leeway so as to allow for genuine cases of illness to be away and not have earnings affected and the members concerned pick up where they left off. Perhaps some contact system implemented by mylot would help, I am sure they could have a contact us section in easy view of us all and all members who are offline through sickness or other reason could contact them and say they will not be here for whatever reason. Lack of money can be a stressfull thing for the sick and infirm, I am sure mylot could assist in easing this stress on the sick easily and make a few exeptions.
