losing weight is not easy

April 8, 2010 9:16am CST
I've been a eating too much these past few days and I am having a hard time choosing what to wear everyday because my clothes do not fit in anymore. And now my problem is how to lose weight effectively. I get bigger and bigger everyday and its so hard for me to control myself from eating fatty foods. Some say that the best thing to do to lose weight is regular exercise, but a lot of people do not maintain this kind of lifestyle, and I am one of them. Every man should have a balanced diet, and that is a responsibility of an individual. For some, its not that easy but if we really wanted to achieve something, we have to work hard for it. And we must apply that optimistic thinking to losing weight.

Well as first step,Drink plenty of water. Our body needs a lot of water so give in to water. Water is not just way to flush out toxin but if you have more water in your body you will generally feel healthier and fitter. This it self will discourage any tendency to gorge. The best thing about water is that is has no calories at all.

Its hard to lose weight very abruptly, it takes months time and really some hard efforts to control your appetite especially with oily, delicious and spicy junk foods. You might want to try by drinking water with lemon in it,early in the morning,in empty stomach. Some other methods may be eating a fat less meal, eating a lots of citrus fruits or by avoiding chocolates and other junk food.... Practicing yoga or other free hand exercises regularly is a must. Its better to consult a dietitian as taking of less foods may lead to sudden loss of appetite which may prove to be harmful.

It is hard to lose weight nowadays, not just because of all the temptation such as donuts, etc. but because of the additives such as high glucose corn syrup, margarine with transfat that are in the food, and also the stuff that the animals feed on. For instance, if you go buy regular beef and pork and chicken, there is not as much chromium in fed-lot feed animals. If you want healthy meat, you have to get meat from animals that are opened grazed on the farm and eat the regular grass in the meadows. So that means, you may have to take chromium. Oh yes, start to do more exercising - increase your walking time and do not just dawdled, add more fruits, vegetables, and salads - skip the creamy dressings and skin the no -fat dressings because they sneak in sugar in the place of fat. What it takes is to gradually substitute healthy food for unhealthy, take mineral and vitamin supplements, and also =well walking as long as it is done at a fast place, will start you on your way.

We have the same sentiment joiesarah. Whenever I go out, I always face this dilemma. Sometimes, I lose my appetite of going out and just stay home instead. LOL. My family keeps telling me to do some exercise to burn some calories. But I feel lazy to do it everyday. And I can't resist to eat delicous food. sigh. I hope I'll lose weight when I get a job. I won't eat then.LOL. Happy mylotting!

you can't lose weight abruptly, it takes time and really hard effort to control your cravings especially with what you said- fatty foods. you might want to try drinking water before eating a meal or instead of eating chocolates and junk food, why not try eating fruits.
