Sure, Jeff Beck, began in the Yardbirds in the 1960s, formed the Jeff Beck Group, with Rod Stewart singing, made a fine hit record, "Beck's Bolero", had a massive hit "Hi Ho Silver Lining"...a very underrated guitarist! But a great one...:o)

Yes, he is! The Yardbirds sixties hitmaking machine (featuring in the movie "Blow Up")was all set to turn him into a massive star, but internal tensions broke the band up. Several of his bandmates became superstars but it never happened for Jeff. The Jeff Beck Group (with Rod Stewart on vocals) were one of the biggest bands of the era. Again Jeff remained the ultimate cult hero.
