How To Tell If A Site Is A Scam Or Ligit?

Hi Lotters,
I know there are a lot of people always asking if this site is ligit or a scam. There is a site where you can go and get info on these sites. It is called PTC INVESTIGATIONS. They have sites listed that are ligit, scams and ones being reviewed. You can also sign on to their email list and you will get updates on when sites have paid out. You can also request a site for them to review and wait for a report from them.
I really like this site and have been on there many times. I have seen sites I am on that are ligit and some are scams like Snap Dollars. Some I am waiting to hear from but still continue to work on them in case they turn out ligit I want to keep earning.
I just wanted to pass this along and hope this info will be useful to all and for a lot of us save time to find out if it is a scam or not.

What is there 'official' about that site? It seems just to be a blog and that is a perfect way for whoever is running it to gain referrals. Don't get me wrong because I too believe it could be useful but exceptionally so to the person who compiles it

Oh I wouldn't say it is unfair.
I say hats off to the person who decided to do it that way - they get a heck of a lot of free pubblicity every time it is mentioned anywhere including the discussions on here

Yep, I know I just mean the site is really overrated for what they offer. Anyone can do what they are doing.

One last question where were you the other day when I was talking about Readbud and had a lot of people say it was a scam. I didn't see any facts about that. Have not heard anything bad about it and didn't see you on there telling people not to say it was a scam without facts like you have been doing to me for a few days now. I guess it is different if don't have any referrals for that site.
I am just pointing out the facts and the real reason some people on here don't want me to say anything bad about gagabux. The site I wasn't able to register with or contact anyone to find out why. Not a site I trust or want anything to do with.

Hardly. I have been doing for years and I know what I am doing. And I have an extremely faithful referral base.
Feel free to post your opinion....but if you are going to use references ...please use the entire reference.
Also like I mentioned earlier ongoing is no big deal....you said earlier that people are worried about getting referrals....you are only allowed 15 direct at gaga...so that isn't an issue with me.
And everyone knows that smartbux was all about the free upgrade..I was like member 7-9 and I was trying to do some people a favor and get them a free upgrade. I can guarantee you that I spent more time letting my friends know...than anyone else invested in the site. And my friends know me...so please don't try to insult my reputation.
I also tried to help you by telling you to put your paypal address in the alertpay slot...you would of been able to register. And they haven't responded to your email...get in line there is almost 1/4 million members on the site.
I tried to help you last night in private messages...but you want to attack me publicly. That isn't right either....I didn't attack you...I simply wrote ALL the facts.

The only reason they moved them to ongoing is because the site was running slow and payments weren't being made in a day like at the start. This is also written there.
You can read the update....they are paying...the site is moving smoothly...they are constantly improving...it also said that since they are under 3 months old that they were going to leave them on this list until they turn three months....
Please don't confuse ongoing with scam....it is far from that. Also not to mention that I have been paid and MANY others since they were put on the ongoing list....
There is no reason to write things like that unless you some facts to back it up.

For this long time, I have always considered just one point... If the site asks for any kind of charges, fees etc., then I always declared it to be SCAM... Legit sites never ask for any fees... :)

Yes, this is a very popular choice for many. You can do a search for others as well. As it is always wise to have more than one opinion.
I have my own red flag list....it is also important to remember not to rush to judgment. Many people shout scam...when in reality it was something they may have done to break TOS.
Also you have to depend on yourself when a site is new....so there are no reviews.

All I said was that it is always best to have more than one opinion. And I agreed that what all these type of sites do is not rocket science....and it isn't ..if a site doesn't pay or starts stalling this is obvious. Now if they could predict the future...that would be awesome.
Nobody here said the site was awful or bad...it has it use...but so do a lot of other sites that do the same thing.
