Oprah as many of you know is developing her own television network and will launch about 15 shows to start. What do you think of that? Will you be waiting to see her new shows debut?
I am a longtime fan of Oprah and also read her magazine regularly so I am really looking forward to seeing what she does with her network. How about you?

Well there are already alot of networks as you say so she'll need to be unique. She's an amazingly successful woman so time will tell. Sometimes tho there are lots of channels, I can't find anything I want to watch so I don't mind having another choice. What is it that you don't like about her?

I gotta agree with McG1985. I can't stand the woman!! It started when she said that she saves, washes and reuses plastic ziplok baggies! I'm going "Oh, yeah, richest woman in the world with maids, servants and others to do everything for her and she expects me to believe she saves, washes and reuses plastic ziplok baggies to save money! Yeah, right!" I was born at night, but it wasn't last night! And I won't say what I think of her building a school in Africa when there are schools that need building or fixing right here in this country.
I won't be tuning into her network!!!

Oprah has had her own network for some time, it's called Oxygen. I've never watched it, because mostly it's made up of reruns of old shows. I don't like her because she helped put a monster in the White House. Thanks a lot, Oprah! Did you know she likes to fart in elevators? Rumor is, she is very crude in person. Kitty Kelly has released a biography of her, I'm sure it's very interesting, lol! I don't like Martha Stewart either. Pretentious, phoney women, the both of them.@Tallygirl09 (1380)

She only owns part of the Oxygen station along with many others. This is one she'll own exclusively. I think it will be very interesting to see what she does with it. And as for Martha, I met her very very briefly at a nursery near Darien, Ct where I have family and she was very pleasant, smiled and said hello. Not bad. I have also heard bad things about the hours she expects her staff to work. I think there are many rumors out there about the both of them but one cannot deny that they have been very successful and they do promote a positive outlook.

I can't wait for this to all happen. I'm so excited that she will still be on TV. I was so afraid she was only going to be a producer or director and not be on TV anymore. She says she will be on at least three times a week in the evening. As for the 15 most seem very interesting. I have a funny feeling this network is going to be big.

She seems to have a golden or maybe platinum touch so I think it will be a success. It'll be interesting to see what she does that makes it stand out from the others. I too enjoy watching her show and usually see 1 a week. She's always so positive and life affirming that it makes me more positive and hopeful too! Take care!!
