We , in our life time would have travelled a lot for sight seeing or for some marriages. 1. what is the longest distance you have been involved with? 2. Was it a sight seeing trip or any other? 3. Were you the one who drove? 4. Was it with family or friends? For me.. 1. Appoximately 3000 kms or 1875 miles. 2. Yes it was a sight seeing trip. 3. Yes I was the one to drive the whole distance. 4. It was with my family. What about you?

The longest drive in my life would have been from Texas to Canada, I don't recall how many miles it was. We went there when I was 7 for the World's Fair. As for myself, it would have been 1600 miles. I moved from one state to another, so it wasn't just for sight-seeing. Since I was alone I did all the driving, but I split it up over 2 1/2 days. When I drove back to see family I drove it in 2 days. I have never minded driving long distances, I have made many trips by myself that were from 300 - 600 miles.

Oh, the longest drive for me was probably last week- it was Spring break and my family and I took a "road trip" (really just drove straight) to Southern California. The total driving time was about 15 hours, the first day we tackled 11 of those and stopped in Las Vegas. I think the trip was 800-900 miles, one way.

i've been to the uk 3 times, via plane from australia. i only remember the last trip thou. then i've seen a bit of australia, mainly along the east side inland. i think furtherest we've gone is about 11hrs, it was for a competiton with the horses. then usually when we go to visit dads side of the family, their an 8 hr drive away. we usually only stop once on the way over bout half way then keep going. i've only been over once since moving out of home.

My longest trip would be an 8 hour drive to the summer capital of the Philippines, which is Baguio City. I'm not the one driving. It's a sight seeing trip and an adventure too. The first time was with my family then the second and third time was with my friends and my girlfriend.

Doing my genealogy research, I drove by myself from Ohio to Pennsylvania to Washington, DC. Then I went to parts of North Carolina. I'd say it was about 750 miles one way.

Hi krupesh, before having the internet connection I enjoy driving. I would like to take my loved one to have country drive whenever I was free. The longest journey I had experienced was to drive from my house to an adjacent country which was situated in the south. We visited my husband's sister and her family who lived there. We had our happy three days vacation staying in her apartment there. His sister and brother in law took us to the hot tourist scenic sites for fantastic sigh seeing. I still remembered we had tasted the big imported crabs. Wow, really delicious Though the distance was not as longer as what you had driven I felt drowsing after taking lunch and drove under the scorching sun. My husband took over the steering wheel of course then. I didn't face such problem while driving on the whole journey of 600 miles or so in night time. Might be the weather of the night was cold and comfortable Happy posting

I don't drive, but my longest trip would be the one four years ago, around this same time. My colleagues and I wanted to spend a weekend in one of the popular beaches here in the Philippines before the place got swamped with tourists and prices skyrocketed. So after our shift, instead of taking the bus to the pier one of my colleagues suggested that we rent a van instead. No problem there because we were all looking for comfort since we were on the graveyard shift. The van driver turned out to be the worst driver that we have ever met because it took us almost the whole day to get to the pier and we even had to transfer to another vehicle because his van broke down. If we took the bus (which we did on our return trip going home) it would only take us two hours max in travel time. We almost missed our ferry ride and instead of being comfortable, we were all cranky and tired by the time we got to the pier.

I drove from Colorado Springs, CO (where I lived at the time) to Saint Petersburg, FL and back twice to visit, and one way once to move there. The last one was 1866 miles, but the first two times I took the scenic route at somewhere over 2000 miles. I was by myself the first two times, with a friend the last time.

1. what is the longest distance you have been involved with? I'm not really sure. I did a bit of traveling (by road) when I was growing up so I'd have to ask one of my parents to be certain. However, the last longest trip that I remember was back when I was a teenager. It was about 560 miles one way. 2. Was it a sight seeing trip or any other? Nope, it wasn't a sight seeing trip. It was for a wedding...my dad's. 3. Were you the one who drove? No, I was too young at the time. 4. Was it with family or friends? It was with family. Happy mylotting!

I had several trips to the east coast with my family, at least 5,000 miles round trip. I wasn't driving. I was a child at the time. We went mostly to visit family, but we also did a lot of sightseeing.

I haven't taken such long journey in the near past.Only in my childhood days,I have traveled like that in the vacation trips.Obviously I could not have driven the vehicle as I was a kid then. So,the longest might be a 3 days trip on a vacation with my parents and I enjoyed a lot,I remember.

Good evening dear Krupesh , always a pleasre answering your discussions , so here i go :) The longest distance that i have travelled up untill now in my life ( i'm almost twenty four yrs old )i've made my longest voyage when i had 19 years old , and it was when i mooved from Roumania to Belgium , and its was not such a great voyage hence the trip lasted for two days and two nights on a two thousand km in a buss , its not that sugestibile , next time i tooked the plane , hence with the buss you can bearly sleep and when you get down from the buss you have knee pains , and i care to share about how i had to retain from making my needs for eight straight hours , and i had just eaten a two cheesburgers , fries and the rest to give me an unwelcome coktail ...that kept me on a stress for eight hours , hence the buss , tooked the highways there was no sighteseeing , only the highways gas stations and restaurants , the best view i could of wanted to see , hence i was waiting for that toiled for too darned time ...so this wasnt the best voyage i could of had , but it was in order to reunite with my familly so it was worth it . Have a nice evening dear Krupesh.

hi krupesh the longest trip I was involved in was years ago with my parents when we drove from NewellSouth Dakota to Banff, Alberta Canada on a vacation. I have no idea how many miles it was but it was a long drive I warrant you that, My dad did all the driving. of course it was a sight seeing trip. As I am now 83 and I was then about 26 , it was indeed a long time back but it was a lovely trip and I enjoyed it very much too.

We have driven a lot. I think the longest one was about 5000 miles. When you live in the Western US it's easy to drive a long way. Hubby and I took a long drive to New Mexico to see about a job adn then we did the sight seeing thing on the way back. It was the first time we had a long trip without kids, Sure enjoyed it even if it took over a month to fix things when we got home, who says you can leave three teens alone, even if the oldest is over 18.

I have done many trips of 5000kilometres return as my family all live about 2000 kilometres away from me and when we drive down there to see them it is approximately 4000 kilometres round trip plus usually another 1000 kilometres of smaller side trips and driving around while there. The last trip I did down there was last Christmas time and I did about 6000 kilometres as I drove on a long side trip to a city that I had never visited before called Adelaide. I drove most of the trip but my wife did some of it when I got tired. In 1998 I also drove all of the way across the USA from California to New York City. I was travelling with friends and we rented a few different cars for the journey. I am not sure of the distance but it was a very long trip that took a month and we were never in one spot more than two nights at a time. I did most of the driving on this trip as I was the only one that was over 25 years old at the time and legally allowed to drive the rental cars without taking out extra insurance.

I remember going on a trip with my friends from school to West Virginia by bus. We were sight seeing and a few other things. We had a special coach bus driver and it was a lot of fun!
