How do you convince someone or your friend to be your refferal???

For the past few days I have been wondering how would some people convince so many referrals even though they are not close friends. Sometimes I am having a hard time telling my friends about this site because i think they aren't into it. Do you have any ideas on how to convince them in a simple way that not only you can benefit but also them? I want to share to them that this site is really good but some of them have no interest whatsoever.
