Do you think being taught at school is a watse of students' time?

I also thought of that before. Like all these informations won't be registered in our long-term memories. But, I do appreciate those philosophy courses. They enrich my mind with such wisdom. Unfortunately, I did not took up Philosophy as my course. hekhek

I think that it is very important for students to put their best effort into school while they are in their years of traditional education. The reason that I feel this way is because during your years of formal schooling you are getting the basic building blocks for the rest of your life. In addition to that, we, as humans are continuously learning throughout our lives and if we take the time to pay attention while we are in school, then I think that learning later in life is easier for us.

Hi,there.I do think being taught at school is a waste of time sometimes especially in college.Well, my major is not I wanted and I feel terrible everytime I have professional courses.It meakes me want to die sometimes.But I have no choice cause I have to pass the exams and then I can get the certificate.Why I can't study my favourite in college?

Well, we have to get to school to get ourselves educated. If it's not important then universities would have been closed down. By the way, diplomas or transcripts are required for work nowadays, you can't even get a low-paying job even if you're a College grad. There was a time when some jobs that doesn't require much intelligence required applicants to be high school grads. Now almost every job opportunity requires us to be college grads. Not even that, sometimes professional licenses are also needed. Exceptions are for those who are really bright from the time they are still studying wherein jobs are offered even at the time they are still in school.
