Okay I have been using a nice mineral powder that conceals so well and is just so nice on. However lately i been noticing some lines in some of the creases and I wonder if anyone else has this problem that those lines become more apparent with your favorite makeup? My face usually gets a bit oily so that is why I use powders, I don't really like the liquid stuff, they just don't do me any justice. Any clues or suggestions on how to remedy this?

I have been having this same/similar problem. I use the Bare Minerals concealer and power makeup and it seemed to do that same thing..under the eye. And it started out covering the dark circles to, but then suddenly seemed to stop concealing so good. Thought is was odd. So my daughter told me about CoverGirl/Olay Corrector...and I tried that and it worked amazingly! Then I added the CoverGirl/Olay Concealer and it works well to. But then I had the problem of the power not blending well with the cream so I used a brush and lightly - very lightly...brushed on a anti aging liquid foundation which works well to blend that area and great for concealing the dark area under my eyes. But lately I have been noticing that it all seems to cake a little under my eyes,,just a little, but enough to be noticable close up. So I will be looking for comments on this to. I am 53 so I know I have limitations, but it seemed to work at first.. don't know why it would suddenly change and not be a good.

I actually was experimenting today and realised that some of the problem can be rectified by wearing a primer before I applied my concealer/makeup. I guess because a primer gets your skin ready for the makeup and helps smooth over the areas. I think the loreal studio secrets one is pretty good but you have to be sure to use the tiniest amount. If you apply too much it kind of just feels too greasy, I think because it feels like a moisturizer too. I think if you have oily skin you should perhaps not apply too much moisterizer if you want to apply a dot of the primer. Or if you like just wear the primer on its own before the makeup as it feels so soft once applied. It really is a nice product. It has been helping my makeup last longer too. This truly is a great find and I hope it helps someone else.

The CG/Olay Corrector is like a primer for under the eye area... but I have used it elsewhere too..around the nose. Little dab'll do ya!(remember that slogan from Brill Cream for mens hair?) Then I do a tiny dab of the concealer in the same area. LIke you said...not to much or it creates moisture you have ato deal with. I have normal skin, no oil hardly at all, so I am lucky in that area. I am testing to see which works best...primer and concealer or just one or the other. Right now if I had to choose I'd choose the primer. Ever heard of Urban Decay brand makeup? They have the best eye shadow primer out there. My duaghter told me about it..she's a police officer and out side all day long and she uses that and says she doesn't have to so much as touch up her eye makeup cause that stuff works so well. And if it works so well for her (she does have oily skin) and she does what she does all day, it is certianly going to work for less vigorious and sweaty faces! She is my personal fashion consultant!

I have heard of the urban decay from a lot of people who have done review on that product and they do rave about how well it works. I don't have access to that particular brand where I am but I guess I could online and see how that goes, I am sure I could find some there. I think there are so many products coming into this industry every day so it can be overwhelming to decide which ones to choose. That is why is it is great to get those review or ask around and people who have tried it already can sometimes save you the time and money especially if it is a bad product. We all know they exist and seriously don't want to waste my money on bad products that are not going to perform. The concealer I use is from an australian company called Pure cosmetics, they have an ebay store and I love it so much because there are so many shades to choose from and so in the summer time I like to use the darker shade and in winter I have a more lighter shade. The plus side of their products is they are all natural and no nasty chemicals. This is so important to me because I do have sensitive skin. Yeah and my fashion consultant is the internet and a couple of friends and some fashion icons. :)

try to use dior spray concealer. it's really good for a person who have oily skin. i also have oily skin. instead of pressed powder i use loose powder. and try washing your face with clear and clean tea leaves facial wash.

I also use a loose powder and I do love to treat my skin now and then too At the moment I am wearing some scar serum by palmers cocoa, it is a vitamen e serum and is very thick but I just use when I am not going out and at home lazying about. I love that as it does not create blemishes for me and helps calm my skin and heal it up from enviromental damage. Sometimes the most natural things do the best things for the skin. So I am up for all suggestion that are natural based. I appreciate those comments because they help more than most other things on the market that actually can be full of chemicals and are not helping the skin at all.
