Hi everyone, What is your opinion of the 10 Commandments? What about the 4th Commandment, which states: "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labour and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of the LORD your God; in it you shall not do any work...For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and made it holy." (Exodus 20:8-11) The Jews have it right when they go to synagogue on Saturday, as this is truly the LORD's day. How did we get it twisted and start going to church on Sundays? I have a concern with honoring only 9 of the 10 commandments. What happened to honoring the sabbath?!

let me clarify one thing, worship is NOT limited to sunday service, we can worship God everyday, every minute of our lives. an additional, sunday become the church not because it is stated in the Bible but rather a tradition induced by the roman catholic. on top of that, the 4th commandment may mean deeper than referring to Saturday as the sabbath day.

Hi there, You're right that worship isn't limited to Sunday service. We can worship any day. However, when it comes down to worshiping with OTHER PEOPLE, studying the word under a teacher, and putting a day aside to do no work but to make God the foremost priority, the Bible says it must be Saturday. The 4th commandment couldn't be any clearer. There is no deeper meaning. It simply sates that on the 7th day (Saturday) you shall do no work, and that it is to be the LORD's special day of worship. Thanks for the response, hilarion. :)

Hi there!..10 Commandments are very helpful to us it's our guidance in our daily lives. It helped us a lot in everything that we do. Well, about that which day we are going to worship the Lord, I guess it doesn't matter at all as long as you really worship Him in spirit and in truth.. Mostly of the people Sunday is the rest day that's why they go to church and also services usually held on that day too!..

I am a Catholic and we consider Saturday mass as an anticipated mass. It is good as a Sunday mass. It depends on what your religion says.

I dont know what happened bout it but as for us we do our service every saturday. And if you ask me if its ok to do it on saturday i think its fine for as long as you still serve and worship in your own way. Some people dont even worship at all i think its just a matter of decision and beliefs for each and every one of us.
