You eat pork? Of course, not fatty meat, a steak once in a while is great, and even find no explanation for that pork is not allowed in some nations, as long as the sheep is very bad the stomach too, the chicken also has his cholesterol, all these animals live around humans the house, and can be grown all times very clean or very dirty? As long as are people who eat horse meat, dog, cat, rat or snake, why can not eat pork meat? What is the explanation?

I for example do not eat mutton, not like the smell, it depends on your taste.

Many reasons it would be. I don't think too much over it, just like some like red and some don't. My daddy doesn't like pork at all, he says pork doesn't taste good, that's why. And I don't like lamb, I don't like its taste.

There's a religious belief of some religions actually, that they really don't eat meat. In the bible says the the evil spirit was transferred or whatever to a pig. I forgot the exact story all about that and it became traditionally. I sometimes eat pork if we have budgets, lol!! I think it really gave us cholesterol but even other foods can actually harm us. You just not eat pork as often maybe once or twice a week.

Hello marianna, some people couldn't eat pork meat due to their religious beliefs. Others couldn't eat too due to medical reasons, for their health, so they avoid not only pork meat but other meat especially beef which is high in cholesterol as well. I for one dont eat pork not because of religious reason but it hurts my tummy whenever I eat, cause me gastric pain, heartburn. So I avoid eating meat I rather prefer eating vegetables and seafoods.

Pork has high benefits compared to chicken and mutton in many ways. Pork infact helps in the reduction of piles complaint inspite of it high cholesterol. So it is suggested by some physcians to curing Piles. I feel it is better to be consumed by the people who suffer from Piles probem. But the thing is that it should be well cooked as it is very rough and may prone to many diseases if not cooked well.

I think it is due to religious reasons. If you are talking health wise, pork's fat is easier to separate compared to beef. Maybe some nations just hate pigs or they are considered sacred animals that people don't want to eat them.

Pigs which are naturally clean animals when living in their natural habitat are omnivorous and ion some ways are biologically similar to humans. They carry the human tape worm and can infect humans eating them with it if the meat is poorly cooked, so for a tribe wandering the desert it made sense to have a prohibition on eating them. God sent a vision to his followers to remove this prohibition. all the best urban

I just don't like pork, or the taste of it. Once in a blue moon I'll eat bacon, but I absolutely hate ham. I've gotten into lots of fights with my Sister in law because I won't eat what she cooks, and she eats a lot of pork, lol. As I'm getting older, I'm finding I'm quasi-vegetarian, lol, if there is such a thing. Some people consider pigs to be dirty, but so are chickens, lol. I guess everybody has their reasons, religious or personal.

I haven't ever eaten dog, cat, horse or snake. i have eaten squirrel, shark and alligator! I don't prefer pork because of the fat content. That's the main reason. I really stay away from red meats and really most meats in general!

Hi marianna, i am a Muslim and i don't eat pork. our religion forbids us to eat pork. and i know it seems ridiculous for some.. and i know some find religion silly and nonsensical, but for people who believe in a god (or gods) the teaching is sacred. like say, my religion, Islam. pig is not considered 'clean' in Islam and Muslims are not allowed to consume them. people love to debate and ask why.. but to me, having limitation is a good thing.

some people do not eat pork mainly for health reasons, but contrary to some statements we really do need the nutrients in pork but in moderation, all we need to do is find a real true balanced diet program, and have a healthy balanced life....

Yeah, it's in the religion. But there are some people who convert themselves as a vegetarian because they are pro-animals. For me, I really love animals but I'm used in eating meat maybe someday I'm gonna stop eating. I've seen a video in youtube that might help you.
