My Spring Break flew by! I wished it meant that spring break was so much fun that it flew by but nope! It flew by because my daughter hurt herself on Easter so I ended up spended the whole time on the phone fighting with people and insurance companies to get her seen and taken care of. My original plan was to clean the house and teach my son some stuff that he missed when he was visiting his father out of state. And I was also hoping that I could take my children somewhere fun for a couple of hours. So what did you do for your spring break? And when was it?

My kids spent spring break with their grandparents, so it was quiet around the house. Because they were gone I spent more time at work, so it wasn't really fun.

Isn't that the way it is? Your kids stay somewhere else and you "think" that you are going to be able to relax but you end up trying to take advantage of the fact that your children are gone and end up working harder. The same thing happens to me:)

Ours went quickly. My husbands granddaughter sent two days with us. She went home at night, we are to boring, no one else for her to play with. But back the next day. So I have a lot of things to pick up and rearange. Her father called, as my husband was mowing lawn that night. "Call me right away when you get this message." Thinking something was wrong we quickly called him. Come to find out it wasn't one of the kids, he found a go-cart for sale. It was a short worry. Back to the subject. My son was alergic to bee bites, the school called, asked them where they had taken him (i live on the state line and he went to school in another state), she was so upset, that she did not know. Hurried to the first hospital (in my state) and found him, but with the situation they were both frightened and he had already taken some medications and feeling a little relief. These situations are very scary.

The week did fly by. My step son went to see his mom so it was pretty quite without him around. I did get a little cleaning around the house done and a few small things that I wanted to do; but spent most of the time dealing with family issues out of state. My father in law took a tumble also, so we were dealing with that. Sorry to hear your daugther got hurt. Hope she is feeling better now. A speedy recovery wish to your family so that you can enjoy the summer. It will be here in no time.

Hopefully your father in law recovers from his tumble and I hope all of your family issues get taken care of the way you want them to. My daughter is doing better now. She got a toddler's fracture, but is moving around pretty good with her walking cast. Thank you!
