Too Much Comfort inside the Comfort Room...

I often noticed that whenever my brother goes inside the C.R. to relieve himself of his waste, he brings with him a newspaper. Not just him, but also my Father. MY MUm would puff a cigar (this is the only time she smokes). My sister would bring her favorite magazine . Even my husband would bring his phone with him inside. I would bring my pen and notebook and scribble something for an article...My friend brings with her some chocolates!!!
Isn't it weird? How about you? What else do you do while doing your thing inside the comfort room?

nothing at all.
We only have the one toilet and it is also a bathroom so it is in and out with a short pause for hand washing or there would be a long queue especially first thing in the morning.

Well, sometimes I do get mad whenever I need to use the CR and then my husband would say "wait up" . I know he was just either texting inside or playing with his phone.

People do tend to use do something when they use the facilities other than taking care of business. I know people who decide to have a bite to eat when they get in the bathroom. That's a bit odd and I think it would be something that I would not want to do but that was something that I have seen done. I do admit that reading is something that I have done at least once and maybe twice. That is about it though.
I think most of the time when I am using the facilities, I am doing just that. There is little time for anything else in there. There is very little room for multitasking when I am using the bathroom. There is a lot of time where I feel like I need all my mental facilities to myself to use the facilities. So other than the rare time I have read, I rarely do anything when I am taking care of business.

On my part, I am doing some multitasking in the restroom because I just don't want to just sit there and stare at blank walls. Sometimes, if I am not reading, I am handwashing the under garments since they are just light and don't require much force and energy to finish. Plus, it saves mev more time. Weird but I am bwenefiting from it.LOL

I do directly that I need to do to the bathroom...taking a shower and/or discharging waste. We only have one comfort too which is also the shower room. We have seven members in the family so we don't have extra time for extra activities in our comfort room. Lucky with you...maybe your comfort room is very relaxing to go inside

My restroom is not really that big but it has an ample space and it also smells and looks so clean that I don;t mind staying there for a little longer than I should.:-)
Luckily for me, we are just five here (three are kids) and nobody is using the CR as often and as long as me and my husband is using it.:-)

Is this comfort room another way to say bathroom/restroom? Interesting! I've never heard it called anything different.
I actually don't take anything with me. Sometimes my phone... but usually I just don't bother. lol. I'm not sure why thought!

Well, you are perfectly normal though I don't say nor admit that people who is doing something else or multi tasking inside the CR while relieving themselves are abnormal.
However, I realized that multitasking is a great way to divert your attention from the foul odour. LOL

LOL. You are right, Ybong. I can't imagine myself munching on that chocolate (even if it is my favorite) while in "labor" .:-) I simply find it odd and gross.:-(

My dad does that, too! He always brings a newspaper whenever he releases waste. And, did I read that right? CHOCOLATES? That's so weird, and kinda awkward. Brown things going in and out of the person at the same time (Lol). Anyway, I don't usually bring anything with me. Just sometimes when I need to study, I bring my book with me so I can study while doing it. Lol.

Yup, my friend has a weird way of spending time in the CR. Well, she got so used to it that she doesn't mind at all.
I developed this kind of habit when I was still in my primary school wherein I had to memorize the multiplication tables of 1 to 10. :-)

That is quite difficult to do ei? Reading while taking a bath, is that what you mean? I can't imagine bringing something to eat or drink inside the restroom, either. For hygienic reason and for my appetite's sake, too.:-)
Well, we all have our own odd way of spending our time but whatever and anyhow we spend it as long as we are enjoying it, I say, go for it. :-)

And so do I.:-I haven't tried reading while taking a bat. Unless, I'll be reading some beauty tips that needs to be performed inside the bathroom.
Oh, maybe, you have a bath tub wherein you soak yourself in one of those scented bubbles while reading a good book. You are lucky, then, my dear. I'd say, I envy you a little.LOL

Whenever I go to the bathroom, I always bring with me any newspapers of magazines just to keep myself entertained. It's so boring inside with nothing to do aside from what we normally do (getting rid of our body wastes). When you said your friend will bring with her some chocolates, I think that's weird, I've never experienced bringing in some food inside the bathroom.

Yes, it is kind of weird to bring food inside the bathroom or CR especially when you are there to get rid of your waste. Can you just imagine the foul smell instead of the sweet yummy smell of the chocolate?
Reading inside while doing your thing is the best way indeed to divert your attention and senses from the unpleasant odor.:-)
