Have you ever had a sudden "buzz"?

I had my first major "buzz" when I drank a mocha frap from Panera. It tasted so good, but one thing I noticed is that I downed it pretty fast. The reason why was because their straws are huge! Have you ever noticed this? Have you ever gotten a frap from Panera? I don't know if they still do this since it's been a while since I've gotten one there, but their straws are bigger than I've ever seen. As a result, I drank way more at a time than I normally would. I think they probably did so on purpose to make people drink faster so they'll want more, but what do you think? Have you ever heard of using extra large straws before? I don't know about you, but I always thought there was a standard size straw that everyone uses. For me, the larger straw gave me a huge caffeine and sugar rush. It was not good because I've never crashed so bad in my life! Have you ever had a huge and sudden rush of caffeine and/or sugar? What were the results? Did you experience the crash afterwards? Did you do anything weird during your "high" on caffeine and/or sugar? This can't be good for the body, but at least I got to experience it once just to see what it was like - LOL!

No, not that I remember right now. You have a point there JJ. I think this is a marketing strategy. many times I have to leave out on the last sips on the drink just because the straw does not reach he bottom! I real have to struggle to reach for the end. It never occurred to me then but since you mention this I really think its very clever of them. You ended by drinking more and what followed is a medical condition! Too bad! That makes me wonder at the length of the straw!
