Have any of you tried Breyer's Ice Cream made with Splenda? We were spending the night at my husband's aunt's house over the weekend when I got a terrible craving for ice cream. I checked her freezer and this was all she had. I was desperate, so I tried it. I was pleasantly surprised. It really tasted just like regular ice cream. I think my husband who is a diabetic would really like it. Anybody else like it, or have another sugar-free favorite?

i agree. Many seem to have a gritty texture. That is why I liked this one. It was very creamy just like regular ice cream.

I tried buying a sugar free ice cream for my dad but he didnt like it. It was another brand and maybe if I try that brand he's gonna like it this time. Thank you for this information. I am really concerned about my dad's health and I also dont want to deprive him of ice cream cause that's his favorite.

I know what you mean. My husband loves ice cream too. This one is the best I've tried. It was the vanilla flavor which is not my usual first choice. I don't know how other flavors will taste. Hope this helps your dad.

No, I have not tried Breyer's Ice Cream made with Splenda but I have tried the regular Breyer's Ice Cream kinds. I prefer the regular ice cream over the sugar free ice cream because I feel like the regular ice cream is more rich in taste and is smoother in texture and softer.

I never hear of sugar free ice cream before. In fact Ice creams have a lot a of sugar on it especially, fructose and galactose. If this is the case then I think its good for the person who have diabetes for they can still enjoy eating ice cream and not worsening their condition. I might try this Breyer's Ice Cream. I hope its not that expensive considering it is for people with diabetes. ^^
