Democrat or Republican? Left or Right?

With all of the new bills and political movements going on, how do you see things? I personally don't have an opinion, I just think bickering all the time gets us nowhere. In many scenarios, I tend to side with the democrats, however, the GOP has recently been moving in a direction that I like (maybe they're reading my diary). Basically, just post your view, and why you see it that way. Or if you have an idea that could change our government and make it better, I'd love to hear it.
