Jesus was crucify, Buddha was not crucify or killed by people even he brought new thoughts to life, why? Buddha was against Hindu religion, against animal killings..against bad aspects of Hindu religion.. I amaze, people were killed here in earth or make them trouble who really brought new thoughts to life. Jesus is one of them. He was killed. There are history of some other's people too. Theirs life is hard, Just because they brought new thoughts, just because they talk about religion or against God. But the time had not still changed, the world is the same now . There is no difference from the time of Jesus and till now. People killed new thoughts. They are afraid with new. They don't like change. well, lets come to the point, I amaze, people killed Jesus because he said, new thoughts. Jesus never said there is no God. He said there is God. Jesus called himself " the son of god". But the new thoughts of Gautama the Buddha is that " There is no God" He said it's a fake thing, but he was not killed by people, even if he had denied God. There are now, many followers of Buddha...in so many countries... More people are attracted by his thoughts.. He said there is no God. But People worship him as God. Why new thoughts were killed in this Earth? Why we people afraid to change? Is it insecure to experience the change. comments are wel come.

My Buddhist wife tells me that Buddha was not particularly opposed to Hinduism. Nor is Buddha worshiped as a God, but respected for having had some really keen insights on how to cope with suffering. Jesus wasn't crucified because he brought any new ideas -- he didn't -- he was crucified because he claimed to be King of the Jews at a time and in a place when the Roman Empire was adamant that the title belonged to Augustus Caesar.

Buddha wasn't against Hindu religion or any other religion he simply stated that violence towards towards fellow living beings is not good. even in Hindu religion killing is a bad thing to do, but in the olden days some people took advantage of people's innocence and made them believe that they could talk to god and gave animal sacrifices. Buddha was a prince once as you may know he left everything in order to find the truth and when he found he started to tell it to other, his followers noted his preachings and his disciples were called as Buddhists and the community Buddhist community, gradually it became the Buddhist religion. Siddhartha is the original name of Buddha and he is a powerful warrior no ordinary prince.

I would ple be believing in themselves rather than believing in gods.. haha =D Though it might be proven that god does really exist, and those followers are indeed real, but it's just a psychological thing, to make themselves feel better and have a sense of security.. I guess most of them has more or less given up on the world of temptations, and thus resorting to religion to relive them of the suffering of the 7 sins in life.. haha =D

Jesus wasn't crucified because he brought forth new ideas. He was crucified because he was the son of God. He was crucified and accepted this as a way for human beings to repent for the errors of the past. That said, I do think that there are a lot of people that are killed because they have new ideas, but I don't think that these deaths and murders are related to religion in most situations.

Jesus was crucified for our sins; God the Father so loved the world that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ to be crucified so to free us mankind at the same time washed our sins. Jesus called Himself the Son of God? Yes it's true! In the Old Testament, Isiah predicted - and the Word became flesh and the Flesh is the Word. The Word here meant - Jesus Christ. Gautama Buddha is a fact not a God; he claimed he is not God? Why because it's true. You answer your own question: why some people persecuted and dread some changes - it is because they don't want to change.

Jesus was not crucified because he brought new ideas. He was crucified it was his plan to save the world. To be crucified was why he came to the world, it was all prophesied. He just came to give His life and he did it. His life was not taken away from him. And regarding Buddha, I don't think he was against any religion, he just taught a good principles that many religion teaches. He was not against hinduism because all his teachings are related to Hinduism in terms of principles like non-violence and not to kill animals. And we are not afraid of change, Changing the world is what most of us dream about. This is true with most politicians promising for a change for them to be voted and elected.

Earlier and now people wants shortcuts to get succeed in their life. When someone try to change this behaviour people will always ingnore him like you doing now. Now you got a motive to crucify Jesus from your words but i won't allow you to do so. people always need miracle and they want it sudden to happen and remember God is not a toy to play with you. If you deserve something and made enough effort on that then you will surely get that thing or position with only the help of God. If someone say something and if it is correct all the people are following him like you people following Budha. I am not blaming anyone everyone has their on way or mind of thinking.
