If I get a chance to talk to those politicians who are running to be re-elected this election, I would ask them their reason. I imagine them answering me with: Because I still have a lot of projects that I want to do to help the people. Right there and there I would raise my eyebrow and tell them: Why sir? Have you not been in office for a complete term and wasn't able to finish those things you have in mind? Or did you plan for this, deferring your good projects for you to have a reason to be re-elected?
Many of our politicians are making politics as business and not public service. If you are given a chance to meet them in person, what are you going to ask them?

It depends on the candidate. Specifically, I want to ask one candidate a question.
I want to ask Nonnoy Aquino "Who are you apart from being the son of your famous parents?"

Nice question, I think it would help to have a follows up question: "Now that you're parents are gone, to whom would you ran to for important decisions?"

The Pink Sisters. He had a retreat with them before he announced he was running for presidency, right?
No offense to Noynoy supporters out there...

                     hello sharlionse,
that's the reason why i decided not to vote for local and senatorial position slate. i was preferring to vote for the popular people in the polls but knowing they sided with villar makes them no different from the other candidates, which is really really sad.

But that would be the same as ignoring your right to vote and NOT helping your country to prosper. But I can't blame you because we seem not to have a choice but the lesser evil..

I guess I would ask them why should people vote for them again? I would also like to know if they are running because they really want to serve the people or if they're there for the money. Hehehe!
