No, no, no! Vegetables will definitely not make you fat! Unless, that is, you cover them with butter or fatty sauces. But alone, vegetables are filled with nutrients, low in calories, and have very little fat. Eat as much of them as you can!

that's right...oil, butter or margarine, dressings, etc, is where the fats and calories all come from.

i jjust love veggies, as simple as that. The greens, orange and yellow looks so appetizing to the palate, they have loads of vitamins and minerals as well. Include rainbow colors of food on your dining tables and the eating area will look pleasing, too.

I don't think so, in fact veggies have fewer calories than meat or dairy products. It's more important to eat a well-balanced diet than to simply target gaining more weight the fast and easy way. My sister is skinny and it's in her genes that her metabolic rate is fast, so she burns fat more easily and quickly than an average person does. She wants to get fat too. There are plenty of supplements out there in the market that claim to help in gaining weight. But she chose to do it the natural way --- she eats healthily, all varieties of health foods, gets enough sleep, and has stopped smoking many moons ago.

hi Ruviesison No vegetables don't make you fat however if they are prepared with a lot of butter ,margarine or fattening dressings the calories start to add up but still overall vegetables are much more digestible than meat . Actually its the processed meats such as lunch and deli meats, hamburgers, sausage ect.. as well as fried foods that help put the pounds on whole grains ,fruits, and vegetables along with plenty of water should help one to maintain and even loose weight. Also they are a lot better for your arteries, blood pressure and sugar levels
