I've using Opera for a few years and is the more stable browser I've seen, never crashes and is as fast as forefox (or maybe faster), I really never liked firefox so much, for me Opera is much better, you can try it. I'm using opera 10.1 now cause it seems the new version 10.5 has a few bugs, I prefer to wait until have a new version without bugs. Vick.

Yeah... Opera is so good, has a lot of useful features and the interface is so customizable, is just an amazing browser. The bugs I found in version 10.5 are: 1. The windows media player plug in does not work, if you don't use web sites that requires it you not going to notice that, I used to listen on line radio stations, and need this plug in working. 2. The flash player plug in sometimes crashes and makes the browser to restart itself, hope they repair this bug soon. I know Opera very well, if you have a question about it just let me know ;)

I use Mozilla Firefox, and it started crashing on me all the time the way you are talking about. It turned out that I had a virus on my computer. I installed a program called SUPER ANTI-SPYWARE. I ran the anti-spyware program, and I have not had any trouble with Firefox anymore. I update and run Super Anti-spyware every couple of days, and I have not had any trouble. Super anti-spyware is one of the best and easiest syware/virus removal programs I have seen. I have a friend who owns a computer repair business, and this is the program he recommends to all his customers. I use the free edition, and it has always worked for me. Just go to superantispyware . com and download the free edition. Set it up to run the complete scan (not the quick scan). It should solve your problems for you, and you will probably be surprised how much stuff it will find on your computer, even though you may already have antivirus software installed on your computer. Let me know if you try it and if it works for you...

Maybe you have to do the updates.. because it installs the new improvements on your browser.

Hi nehmer!! I am also using FireFox as my default browser but i am not experiencing what you experience. There are so many ways to resolve it, if your FireFox is outdated try updating it to FireFox 3.6. Try reinstalling it, install security add-ons like WOT (Web Of Trust) to have a safe browsing. If it still crush, try hitting windows R in your keyboard type "%temp%" remove all the temporary files and restart your computer. Try also to clear the histories and prefetch. If it still doesn't work try opening your system through safe mode. Run your antivirus and other utilities. Crashing of browsers sometimes it is because of "Trojan Downloader" and different kinds of autoruns. Try system restore . and if it still doesn't work reformat your computer! AND IF STILL DOESN"T WORKS!! BUY A NEW ONE! :D

I personally use Internet Explorer 8 and I've never had any problems or issues with it. I know a lot of people are not keen on using Internet Explorer and I cannot understand why. Everyone's systems are different though and it may be a configuration issue as opposed to Internet Explorer itself being an issue. From personal experience I would recommend that you use this browser. Good luck. Andrew

I am still using the latest version of Firefox. I've used Chrome before but for some reasons, it also crashes. I don't know if it's just me. So I turned to FF again. I also have IE 7 but FF is my default; I only use IE when FF crashes. I don't recommend IE, LOL, because I find it kinda hard to navigate between tabs. Maybe Chrome will work for you.
