Is the fault we see in another also in us?

It has been said that the fault we find in others is just a reflection of a fault in ourselves. I'm sure that there has to be times when we all find this difficult to accept. How do you feel about this? Do you think it's true? Do you think that if we all treated others the way that we would like to be treated that we would remove much of that?

Possibility, I find that the faults I see in others, sepecially women is things they are going through in their lives that I have had to endure and don't any more and want them to not have to either. Though I try to keep my mouth shut on most of them, seems trying to tell them only makes it worse cause they can't see it. I would wonder if the faults we have we try to see the same in others that way it doesn't look as bad on us. I try not to judge others as to what faults they might have unless it interfers with my life or my family. Yes I do believe that if we treated others like we would like to be treated then it would take away a lot of things that is bad.

Yes, sometimes stuff that we want others to do simply means that we don't want
to do it ourselves ,so we put pressure on others ,so that we can get away from
doing stuff that we dislike. We blamed others for certain things that we probably
would not do either.
