I haven't traveled yet outside of my county but I've visited historical sites here already and one of the most memorable in my experience is the Intramuros. It's a place where the 18th century Spanish colonial era was still preserved so I can see all the houses, buildings, and everything still looks like in the past. It feels like I was being transported in time.

Last year I traveled to South Africa with my toddler son. I learned about poverty and how the poor people in Cape Town live. I found out about an Irish charity that helps the local people. They have built new homes for them. The cost per month was less that a night where I was staying at a budget guest house. In 2006 I went to the Mayan ruins in Guatemala, Belize and Mexico. I learned about the history of the Mayan people. I love to travel and explore different places in the world. On my trip to New Zealand in 2010 I did a long distance walk that involved river crossing. I had to work out tides in order to cross safely. It was more educational than a Geography lesson had been when I had been at school. During the 1990s I went to Israel and I learned about religion: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. I visited some of the concentration camps in Europe and found the experience ever so sad. I have learned that war in wrong and in it innocent people suffer horrifically. There are many places to go on my travel wish list. I like to travel to see the local people, see the historical sights, the views and watch the native wildlife.
