Are you tired of construction on the expressway

It's that time again for many places where the expressways are packed with cars due to construction on the expressways. I know I get frustrated with all the detours and road closures and bumper to bumper traffic but what are your thoughts on this? Does it seem like they pick the worst time to work on the expressways or do they pick the right time to work on the expressways? Do you get tired of construction on the expressway? And is there anything we can do about it? Let me know everyone.
