YouTube is one of my best tutor when it comes on learning new things that comes up in my life. Best example is when i am on my process of learning photoshop. I am very tired reading different handouts and materials that really doesn't help a lot in my entire learning. I want something practical so i consult Mr. Youtube. I found out many tutorials there, i almost gone crazy on the excitement i feel viewing all the tutorial video uploaded on youtube. I have an advantage of buffering all of them at the same time because i have a better internet connection so i made it successfully. I am very thankful for youtube for teaching me on photoshoping and i am very thankful to youtube because through it i can now learn things by my self :D

I like to learn things, but I never think of learning it from Youtube. The visual teaching would be very helpful in our learning. I just think that the teaching content is not enough in youtube. Saying if I would like to learn Photoshop, maybe there are thousands of tutorials there and most of them showed the elementary course. If you are the higher level, it would be limited, right?

Yes! Youtube is definitely a great teacher! Even study related, I still remember at one time when I was still in my first year and struggling with a maths subject, I actually consulted Youtube and to my surprise, everything was there. There was even e lecture video from MIT and Stanford uni.

I agree with you, teito_klein. Many people thought that Youtube is just a website for watching music videos or video clips. However, not many people know that Youtube also contains many educational videos which some good souls out there made themselves. The subjects available are just too many to count - foreign language tutorials, mathematics, history, and yes, Photoshop, are just some examples.

Wow, that's a great idea! I pretty much taught myself how to use Photoshop CS4 through trial and error. It would have been much easier if I'd thought to look for tutorials on YouTube.
