Am I the only Steelers fan you has no strong feeling about what happened in Georgia? Am I the only one who wished the Commish would give Ben a fine and a suspension so this story can go away? And if the Steelers are stupid enough to trade Ben, I'll root for him at his next team, barring the Cowboys. I'll do anything for love , but I won't do that! lol. I never saw ben as a boyscout. I didn't believe there was going to be any charges because of the way the investigation went. And since there was no charges , I didn't think any of this was my business. Am I the only one?

This is not going to just go away and I will be shocked if Big Ben is not suspended. The commish will not tolerate this behavior. I am a Big Ben fan and was very concerned since this is the second time. I was happy to hear he didn't rape this woman cause that would have been a bigger issue. I do see The Steelers trading Big Ben if he has one more incident this had been a ongoing issue with him. He does need to be more responsible and stay out of bars. Remember The Steelers had no problem trading Holmes. Everyone can be replaced and I don't think they are very happy with Ben right now. If he has a drinking he needs to get it under control. If not he just may find himself not only no longer a Steeler but no longer in The NFL. I think this is sad because he is very talented and his personal life is what he will be remembered for. Big Ben time to grow up and act more like a adult. Let's hope this is the wake up call that he needs. I agree with the commish it is a honor to play in The NFL am I happy we have the dogkiller back no and the same with Stallworth. People have to learn they commit a crime their job should not be waiting for them. I know mine wouldn't be if I was in jail. Now I know Big Ben wasn't charged this time I hope there will never be a third incident. Ben has a lot of work to do to get back on the commish and Steelers good side. I am sure they will be going with caution from here on out.

I think Ben is as grown up as he will ever be and if the Steelers trade him , there will be another team there to pick him up. I don't se this as his wake up call. i don't think there will be a wake up call for him.

You may be right about the Rooneys . I hope he can get together but I won't be surprised if he doesn't. I like Eli and Peyton too.

The Rooneys are livid with him according to NFL Total Access. It is only a matter of time and I do hope Ben does get it together only cause he is a good player. I also hope he gets the help he needs for his drinking problem and issues with women. Thanks for the shout out for Peyton and Eli I would really be shocked if I ever heard these two in the news. Plus I think Archie would take them out. LOL Have a great day

I heard on the radio today that Ben said his meeting with the commissioner was very 'productive'. I'm sure that by productive, he means that he got a tongue lashing from Roger Goodell. I can see the NFL's side of not giving him a suspension. Because if they did, they would be punishing the whole Steelers team. I'm sorry, but I don't think the team would win without Big Ben in the middle. And sitting a few games would be a big chunk of an NFL season. But, a fine would have sent the message. A message that they can move on a leave this issue behind.

I was listening to Mike And Mike this morning and I thought , if the Commish is going to try to police All these guys behavior, they should set aside money for fines. I don't see Any player being afraid of a suspension or a fine.

You are right sarah they don't seem to be afraid cause their is a part of them that still think they can get away with it. Maybe Goodell needs to start banning them from the sport depending on the nature and how many times a certain player is always in trouble. That will wake them up.

I think something happen in Georgia and there might be a cover up going on the way it sounds. I used to like Big Ben but after this assualt I don't anymore. I still give Big Ben a benifit of a doubt with the Denver woman. That one sounds to me that she didn't get what she wanted from him.A relationship or a baby! That is my think. I think Big Ben has some issues to deal with and he needs to grow up. I also think he will screw up again and it will be the last straw with the Rooney's and the Steelers. I know Roger Goodell will suspend the big idiot after the draft, which is next week. What then happens is the Steelers might punish him even more. We will see! This is only getting more interesting as the days goes on!

My concern is if there is no fine or suspension and Ben actually did commit these crimes, he's going to continue to do it because he doesn't think he will get caught.

After the draft Goodell is going to give his ruling. The Rooneys are livid with him and said yesterday he has one more chance to redeem himself and has a long way to go.This isn't over yet.
