Keeping the faith

Hi, I am a devout atheist, I cannot ever see myself beleiving in god mainly due to the lack of evidennce and the damage organised religion has done to the human race. I basically live by my own principles and see myself as a fundamentally good person. Just curious, those of you that do beleive in any kind of deity, what does it mean to you and how do you keep your faith. Ian
