I would like to know what is your most favorite/preferred holiday/s and why? For me my favorite holiday is Christmas. It gives us the chance to have a good bonding with our love ones, and to meet up again the persons we haven't seen for a long time. Plus, the atmosphere is very lively. There are a lot of parties everywhere, a lot of good food to feast, wonderful fireworks, etc. Then people are wishing each other a Merry Christmas and exchanging good gifts. It's fun. I wish it's Christmas time everyday.

I also like Christmas holiday because there I could received lots of blessings from work and friends and family. What I just dont like about Christmas is that you need to spend a lot. Shopping there and sale here and everywhere. wahhhhhhhh my expenses on christmas holiday is huge. Even so, I still like it.

Well, you don't need to spend a lot. But I know it's hard to hold ourselves during these seasons, lots of good offers from here and there.

for me , i like the halloween the most , because people can dress in all kinds of eccentric clothes, which is very interesting , people can not dress like that in the daily life ,so i think this holiday gives people a good platform to have fun , when i see people dress like a superman , spiderman , vampire, witch and so on ,that's pretty funny,we could not become a real superman , spiderman or others , thus we can gain happyness in the process

I agree. On this day, people can appear as the image or look they wanted to be. It allows everyone to wear the mask not to cover their own identity but to present what they wish to be somehow.

I like New Year festival also, but since Christmas is the most-awaited and most celebrated in our country, I could appreciate it more than New Year's celebration. Although, we also have family reunions every New Year's eve.

I love Christmas season and New Year!!! It gives everyone a feeling of closeness both to our loved-ones and to God. The cold months of "ber" as we refer to from September to December here in the Philippines always excite us to the coming of the much-awaited events- first the Christmas eve and the New Year's eve too. Every Christmas eve, there is bonding between all the family members and you can really feel that love is in the air. Almost all families have reunions. We have to manage our time during Christmas because we don't want to miss out on the get-together of both my family's and my husband's family. A whole day of fun await the kids too. Every New Year's eve, we have fireworks (but we make sure it's safe even for the kids). Then, a bountiful dinner for everybody. Lastly, I always end the celebration by a splash of coins around the house and the kids go running wild to get as many. Ohhhh! I wish it's "ber" already. :)

It's always fun to spend moments with our love ones, especially on special occasions like Christmas. I wish it's "ber" already too... not only for the holiday, but also for change of weather, it's too hot now! I couldn't bear it.

Christmas is my favorite holiday. I definitely miss my country when its Christmas. Christmas is longest holiday ever in my country, Philippines, it will start from September (where you can hear Christmas songs played already in every radio station) and it will ends on January (three kings). Misa de Gallo or also known as Simbang Gabi is one of the Christmas tradition in the Philippines , It will start on the 16th of December where every devotee hears mass and believe that a special wish will be granted by God when they completed the 9-day mass. During Simbang Gabi, there are vendors near the church who sell a traditional christmas delicacies that everyone will definitely enjoy. These delicacies are known as bibingka and puto bumbong and can be enjoy with goto (congee). On the 24th of December or the eve of Christmas, the traditional feast known as Noche Buena is celebrated with family enjoying foods including: hamon (christmas ham), keso de bola (round cheese) and tsokolate ( a hot chocolate) and on the 31'st of December , we celebrate media noche to welcome and greet the new year with fireworks, food and jumping when the clock strike 12. During the month of December, every houses, schools and offices are decorated with christmas tree, parol (lanterns) and Belen (nativity scene). Children and adults do carolings during this month. And ,It is also this month where schools and offices organise parties with activities including exchange gift or also known as monito monita. Have a nice day! Happy mylotting!

I also thoroughly enjoy Christmas because there is an infectious feeling in the air and as the day draws closer and closer some people do become quite stressed but I normally just find myself looking forward to a few nice days off work and a nice meal with my family. It's also nice to receive presents from my friends and loved ones but I would much rather give than receive as it's nice to make someones day and see their face light up when they get something that is perfect for them or they have secretly wanted for ages. I like to look after the people in my life :)

I think it is Christmas for me as well. I have good memories of my parents from Christmastime and with my own family now. Our extended family gets together and we open presents, eat, laugh, talk and play games and spend the whole day together. We also do this on Thanksgiving and birthdays but Christmas just seems to be extra special. I really like it when it snows on Christmas eve, especially big snow flakes!

Yes you're right. It's the season when everybody are in the good spirit, willingly give and share moments and good gifts. And of course family reunions mostly happen on this season.

My favorite holiday is Christmas, but I also like Thanksgiving. These are the times in the year my family is most likely to get together. And holidays aren't holidays without family. Also...we eat alot.

of course no question about it, its Christmas and New Year hehe, this is the most happy holidays in the world, and another i also love is Holy Week because we can see here the suffering of Jesus Christ and how He was able to save us from sins, holy week is the great time to ask for forgiveness and also accept Christ for those who still not believing on Jesus Christ and another thing i love in this holiday is the resurrection of Jesus Christ after 3 days

Mine is April 1. It is one day of the year when I can prank everybody, all in celebration of April Fool's :P I am usually the prankster in the family. So, sometimes it is better to keep your distance from me if you know what is best for you.

Cool. At least on this day, no one can complain as somehow it gives you the right for 24 hours to be a prankster to everybody.

My favourite holiday is also Christmas. I love the build up to Christmas - all the present buying, putting the decorations up etc. I especially love it now I'm a Mum as I get to take my son to see the reindeers and Santa, and we have to leave mince pies out for Santa too! Christmas just seems to get most people in a friendly mood. It's also a time when amilies get together and that's really important to me.
