They say 8 hours of sleep is needed. I sleep around 6-7 hours at night and 1 hour at afternoon. When is the right time to sleep? How long should it be?

I am only getting around 6-7 hours of sleep at night. At times, i think i had enough sleep but at other times, I feel that I am not getting enough. I am not getting enough when I feel tired when I get up in the morning and I yawn like a hundred times during the day.

Yeah, I get that feeling. Sometimes it just like you haven't slept at all. You wake up and feel tired.

I think the right sleeping time should be around ten at night and the suggested span of sleep should be eight hours. Although i sleep for ten hours usually. I don't know why. Lol. I guess that's my normal sleeping time. When i sleep for only eight hrs i feel lazy like i need more rest.

The amount of sleep is something that varies a bit from night to night but it tends to be in the same general area. About eight hours is a good number for sleep. It is what I do and it is recommended by people. Of course, I do that eight hours of sleep at night most of the time and it will allow me to recharge over a single period of time. I rarely sleep during the day, unless I am absolutely out of it or rather sick. Of course then, my sleep tends to be pretty straight though during the day and more than eight hours to begin with. So basically, my sleep is eight hours and at night a lot of the time. Breaking it up just causes some problems for me. It takes me a couple of hours to get going so doing it once is enough time and more than enough for me as far as I am concerned.

We have to sleep comfortably according to our regular habits, and in no way you should avoid sleeping for less hours. This is something which every person does naturally according to hbis body capacity. Some sleep less hours and some sleep more hours. Both are correct according to the theory. I read many a times that we should not sleep in the after noon. For me,I will not sleep in the after noon at all. Will try to avoid doing some or other thing. If I sleep in the after noon I have to keep waking all the night. My body is build in this fashion. I have a good 8 hours sleep which keeps me in goo health.

I sleep 6 hours at night and 1-2 hours in the afternoon. So the total is 7-8 hours. I think the total of 8 hours of sleep is enough for my age. Children should sleep 10 hours or more.

Mondays i never sleep the full 8 hours. I probably head to bed around 11 and then i have to wake up around 7 to get ready and head to work for the day. Mondays are hard but everyone has those days. If i sleep straight through the night and get no texts or phone calls in the middle of the night then i could get my 8 hours of sleep, but that barely every happens. Some nights i do get my 8 hours of sleep but it is hard to get it as i wake up a few times in the middle of the night to check the time and see how much longer i can sleep before that alarm goes off. On the weekends is when i truly do get my 8 hours of sleep because im not worrying about getting up and going to work and i can sleep in.

the number of hours of sleep that each person needs also varies per person but usually it should be 6.5 to 8 hours a day. since i am working at night, i usually sleep 5-6 hours at day and 1 hour nap at night.

They say it all depends on your age or growth stage. The more you become older the lesser the sleeping hours. :) If you are a teen or adult, 8 hours of sleep is needed. :) I also sleep almost 8 hours a day, sometimes I exceed a couple of hours but not more than 2 hours. But if I am really busy and needs to finish something and stayed up until the next day, my hours of sleep are longer. My longest sleep as I can remember is 15 hours. hahaha. :)

I have read an article the body detox process is began at 9 pm until 7 am, but the most important detox process is from 9 pm to 4 am, and the process just could be maximized when we are totaly sleep. So I think 7-8 hours a day is enough for us, except for a baby.

When there are classes, I usually sleep around 6-7 hours also. Now that it's summer vacation, I usually sleep around 10 hours or so, and it doesn't give me a very good feeling. I think the recommended amount of sleep is 8 hours, no more or less. If you sleep less than 8 hours, you will still feel sleepy and tired. And if you sleep more than 8 hours, you will have this heavy feeling and you will still feel tired. I guess the right time to sleep is around 8, 9 or 10, because that's when our body system begins to do its tasks like food digestion, etc. So if you sleep late, the body processes may be altered and may cause a bad effect on you such as brain damage. Even if you sleep at 12 am and have 8 hours of sleep, it's still bad for your health.
