Traffic exchanges and Safelist Emails are not really helping.

When you join traffic exchanges and safelists to promote your affiliate link of ryour website do you really get signups? In my opinion, no you are not. When you join these site, you click for credits. This credits are used to advertise your website or links to other members and when those members click click on your website or link, they earn credits too so that they earn credits too for their own. But did it ever occur to you that if you are not really reading their ad and just opening it for credit that they may be doing the same? Traffic exchanges and safelists do earn you views/hits. But they are not actually giving you signups or sales because, like you are doing, they are only opening theirs only for credits.
