We surely need protection in nowaday if you are living in a city which is full of violence and robbery cases. That's why some building will hire security guards to protect the people and the property of those buildings. Some of the guards will sometimes carry a gun and some of them may only have a stick or a rod.Do you think those weapons will be nescessary for them to do their job? Will those weapons good enough for them to do their jobs?Share with us about the situation of your city?

Hi there, In my company, there are only one guard standing there when we are in and out. We play some game together at break time. The secrity guard never holds a weapon even a rod, because it is really not necessary. If there are some problem, the security guard can do nothing but call the police and the police will come and handle all within 5 mins. Even more serious situation happened, the security guard have no right to do with it, the only right they have is to keep the order and usually we keep order ourselves. That is the ordinary situation in my country.

my state already has sufficient facilities for its security guards, whether government or private sector, although my country is often being labeled as a terrorist state, i'm proud as a citizen because it wasn't proven, this is now my country is very safe

A security guard has to have some weapon depending on the threat perception. The weapon he is carrying should be dependent on the nature of crime that is being committed in the country.Weapons might not totally prevent crime but it deters some people from taking chances.More than the weapon it depends on the security persons skill in using arms to prevent or deter potential criminals from carrying out their nefarious designs. The threat perception in my place is moderate to extreme depending on the prevailing circumstances.
