Interesting ideas! I've been thinking about making freezer jam if I can find a good deal on fruit in the up comming months when produce is cheaper I'd like to try to make some. Any advice you could share?

Years ago I found a cook book with recipes from the pioneer days out on the planes. It had a recipe for corn cob jelly. You took the corn cobs and boiled them then added pectin and sugar to the juice. It was fun for the kids but the jelly really din't have a lot of flavor. they ate it any way. Other then that I made the usual fruit jams and jellies from wild fruits. We don't eat much jelly any more.
