Sounds great, but did you actually get paid? I'm on that site and although I've earned for reading and rating, I actually have not been paid, have you? As for watching TV on my computer, I'm all for it, but my girlfriend doesn't like the idea. She would love it if it came over the tv screen without any interference and a clear picture.

Well, you can always stream a tv show or movie from your computer to the xbox 360 and get a great picture. My bf does it all the time with his favorite show,"Big Bang Theory."http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxiWA2j1fsc I luv it, too. Very Funny Show!

I wouldn't want to do that, I like the big screen on my old television. And I don't think they show a lot of the old movies I like on the computer. If you have a referral link to Readbud, send it to me. I couldn't find it on your profile.

Well it would be nice to watch TV online if the shows were to date and not reruns and old videos. The broadcaster are not going to give up free TV signal online, at least not yet.

If you go to http://ninjavideo.net you will find all the recent tv shows available on cable and BBC as well. I don't have cable, but I can go there and watch episodes of lost that I missed. Don't need Tivo now,LOL!

Even with a DVR I don't always get to see the shows I enjoy. If I have the time I will watch them online. If we had to cut something in our budget it would be the Directv since most of it we can watch online anyways.

The timing of your article can't be any better. I'm actually just in the process of unsubscribing from my cable TV service. I've decided that it has become a redundant expense as I can get my TV fix (shows, movies AND news) on the internet. Plus the LCD monitor I'm using has a much, much better resolution than the ratty old 14" TV I use... which I still plan to use for watching local shows and old VHS home videos :p

TY for your comment. I wonder how much you were paying each month for cable?

My monthly cable fee is 450 pesos. That's about 10 USD. The minimum wage here is around 350 pesos, so the monthly cable rate is equivalent to a little over a day's wage. How much is it in the US?
