Fruit diet - Good for your diet
I believe fruit diet is very effective in losing weight. I've been trying that every time I'd notice I'm getting bigger I'd just go into fruit diet in just a week and I'd immediately regain my perfect weight. If you have grown so big then it would take a lot of sacrifice. Aside from fruit diet you need to exercise regularly as well and drink a lot of water to avoid craving for heavy foods.

limit the intake of fruits espl. in the evening, fruits when digest it turns to fructose which lessens your body the ability to burn fats...the best time to have your fruits is only after an exercise...in order your diet to be effective, eat 6 small portion of meal with the size of your fist per serving and time spacing is every 2 1/2 or 3 hours., your diet should consist of good source of low g.i. complex carbs, protein and EFA (essential fatty acids), have a regular exercise 20-30 min. two or three times aweek..always watch what you eat..

The problem with a fruit diet is that there is no protein and no carbs. It might be okay for a week to lose a few fast pounds but overall it's not good to stay on it you will be weak and malnourished.

I agree on the all-fruit diet as your friend recommended to cut on weight. I have used it with good results. My routine is to eat fruit-only in the morning, eat regular meal with a small meat at lunch, and a fruit-only supper. And lots of water to help free your body from excess byproducts of metabolism particularly of fats from your body stores. This is very effective when you are a physically active person. Your body will simply shed those extra fats and bring down your weight. Don't forget to always have with you a bottle of water, and drink whenever thirst appears, or even some mild pangs of hunger. But if you have to eat in-between, eat only fiber-rich fruits; avoid citrus as it can trigger hyperacidity.

Fruits are great for detoxification. There are lots of article on the web regarding this. Try to do some searching. It is quite unsafe to just eat fruits cause it will affect your state of health. We all know that we need fruits to glow, but we still have to eat some energy giving foods so as not to be weak. I suggest you consult first your doctor about it before starting on a diet.

Some people are born with a tendency to be overweight and others with a tendency to be thin. I myself eat meat all the time but my body is always thin. I think the most important thing is to be healthy which means that you should eat a balanced diet which contains all the nutrients that our body needs such as carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals, fibers etc and also exercise our body. Therefore, we should eat a variety of different food such as bread, rice, fish, meat, fruits, vegetables, etc. In my opinion, if you eat only fruit you will eventually get thin but you won't feel well and weak which means you are not healthy at all.
