Just purchased my Confessions of a Shopaholic book and I find it more interesting than watching the movie. Well, I already expect it. I watch the movie again from the time I bought the book. It's so nice that, here in the Philippines, we have already the complete set of it. From Confessions of a Shopaholic down to Shopaholic and Baby. I'm the last person who knew about this but it's just so overwhelming. Are you done reading all those five shopaholic books? If yes,can you recommend to me your favorite book among the five?

Hi elsmarie! hey, a fellow shopaholic! Yup, I've watched the movie about three times already, and read all five books. I got addicted to it! True, the books are way better than the movie. But I do appreciate how the movie is close enough to the book. As I entered Rebecca Bloomwood's world, I got hooked. I found the books witty and funny. Becky is such a blast, and she is really the definition of a shopaholic. My favorite one? hmm..it's hard to pick one. The books are in sequence of Becky's life, so it's like watching a soap and can't wait what will happen next. I do recommend you to read all five books!

Really? I'm so excited to purchase all of them... I should save a lot of money onlyprincess... I'm not really a shopaholic but I always wanted to be one, it's just that I have no money. :(

I haven't read the book but it's already obvious that books would be better than the movie anytime. Though there are movies that are fairly satisfactory. Remember that movies are limited in funds, plus if they should re-enact everything in the book then they'd probably create a movie that's a week long. I mean, you can't read the book in 1 and a half hour, can you? Think about it.

No I can't... I believe that I posted there, at my discussion, that I already expect that the book is much better than the movie, right? I don't think that you should have to give reasons behind it because it's too obvious that a lot are already aware of it. Aside from that, there are still movies who is much likely interesting rather than reading and understanding the book. Anyways, thanks for your reply. Have a happy day.
