Craigslist and false leads or spam!

ok i sell things with Bonanzle which is like ebay in a way and it has a tool to export your stuff to ads on craigslist and i have used it a few times with no luck but then the other day i got 8 hits off of it and i was so happy. well 6 out of 8 when i replied to their questions i got the auto response type thing spamming me to make money through them! 1 turned into a real sale 1 turned im still waiting on because i think the person fell off the earth.. im almost not even wanting to list there anymore just because of all the false hope it brought up since i have been in a drought! anyone getting this from craigslist? where a person asks a question about your ad and you reply to get an auto-reply that is some BS spam? im guessing there isnt a way of stopping it from happening is there?
