well this is only for the hardcore readers, who try to read anything...like me I am the same with watching movies. very seldom it happens I can`t watch a movie till the end(no matter how worse it is) or read a book to the end- no matter how worse it is(/ in my own opinion of course) so you know of any book you could never finish no matter how hard you tried??? sorry to say but for me it`s this 2: the bible and the koran it´s realy not my thing I know so much from the older cultures by now that I cannot finish these books. for me they are just bad propaganda cutting out the main subjects of the true story-but thats just my opinion. how about you any books you could never finish??? and why??

Having read War and Peace twice, I can't say that there is any book that I'd not be able to read to the end. Though I have to admit, I don't think that I've read ALL of the bible and I don't have the slightest interest in reading the Koran.

so I see for anyone of us there seem to be some books we do not want or cannot read...I do not think it´s negative I just wanted to know if anybody else has the same feeling in our "readers community"

You claim that the Bible and the Koran are "bad propaganda," but I have a question for you. How do you know that what you've been taught isn't propaganda? To answer your question, however, I have yet to finish the "Harry Potter" series, and I probably won't because I already know how the series ends, thanks to a bunch of people (not on here) who had nothing else to do with their time other than spoil the series for other readers.

I have been tought the bible when I was little! I read into the koran aswell before I made my own desission...I always do this and for my readings and now opinion I feel like this one thing that is very immportand for all.....read untill the end if you can make it, before you say something about it. but in my case I knew the stories allready as I studied the ancient writings and was so much dissapointed to see many things where just left out in the bible or coran....for no reason

Hello, I am what you call a hardcore reader, I cannot stop before reaching the end of a book no matter how bad the book is. the only book I had trouble to read so far was Kant, we had to read it for philosophy class in high school and it was a real nightmare to me. I don't really like philosophy in general, that's probably why I was never any good at it but I can't quite figure out why. it's probably cause it makes me feel stupid but also because of my taste in books, I mainly like fantasy stories. in my spare time, I like reading for fun more than for banging my head against the wall! reading helps me escaping from reality but philosophy makes me think about reality... all those reasons make sense but it somehow feels wrong. I guess I should read Kant again to be able to tell you why but I don't think I'm ready for it, maybe in ten years?
