So if the nurse with the hard name to spell(for me anyway) didn't know any better than to give baby Rex to Alison at the time, how will she now know anything more about it all these years later? About the only way I can come up with is if the real mother came looking for the baby. I still say Bo will end up as Rex's father.

My first thought was....Rex is what - around 25 years old or older? That nurse looked to young to have been there 25 years ago and still old enough to be a nurse! I bet it was her mother or a sister or something. They have to drag out this new storyline a few more months. And I'd bet in the end, they will somehow make Bo Rex's father.
