Fast Food Restaurants

In our neighborhood we have a "food court".There is a whole block of restaurant's, mostly fast food. The first place is not fast food,it is Hooter's.My three year old grandaughter said that she doesn't like it there, because it is too loud.We have been there a few times and it's ok. But,as far as the fast food restaurants there is McDonalds,Wendy's,Chic Fil A,Taco Bell,Burger King and Arby's.Only two of the places have a children's play center,Chic Fil A and Burger King.My grandaughter doesn't want to go in the one at Burger King.My 13 year old daughter went up there to see why she did not like it and she came back down to report to me that she didn't even like it.She said that it was kinda' scary. It was dark in place's with tight turns. When it comes to pricing, the cheapest places there to eat are McDonalds,Taco Bell and Wendy's.They other places do have reasonable prices line on their food. And as far as quality of fast food, there is something from each place that I enjoy, but that's personal taste.Like at Taco Bell they have Pepsi products(that's likely because Pepsi own's them). At all those places, but one I always have a problem, when my daughter is not with us.I do not have a car,so we walk there,my grandaughter in a stroller.I order the food, pay for it and am trying to juggle the tray and pushing the stroller to my table and the employees do not even seem to care. But,at the Chic Fil A an employee immediatly picks up my tray carry's from behind the counter and to the table of my choice.I have never had to ask! That particular store has hired some handicapped people that clean the tables and floors during the weekdays there.the place is always clean.I rarely have to ask at the counter for a refill, seconds a to go bag or anything.Usually during the evening's and weekends they have one or two people hosting and going from table to table checking on the customers.Sometimes they have a host offering samples of food there. That's how I found something that they serve that I really like and it has a low cost too.Their food is great,a lot of the stuff tastes homemade not frozen. On Tuesdays they have a family night, where they have puppet shows, bingo nights, craft nights and more. The chain is owned by christians and is closed on Sundays. They also have give-aways and freebies usually associated with something to do with the community as well as mini parking lot carnivels. What is your favorite fast food restaurant in your neighborhood?

Like I said not all Chic Fil A's are that nice, but the all have the same chicken soup that is great,it tastes homemade. One of the sample's they gave me and now I really like it is a carrot and raisin salad. It doesn't sound that great, but it is made with pineapple juice, therefore it is healthy and natural yet taste sweet. It is really good. Nice talking to you!

Nice hearing from u to, Donna. The soup sounds find but couldn't go the salad, lol. I hareraisins & pineapple so that would never work. They use to serve that in the lunchroom at school & i thought it gross way back then.

I try not to use mainstream fast food places, but it's been quite a while since I've been to a Chik Fil A. I'll have to see if one is around here somewhere. But I prefer using the smaller businesses. There is a sandwich shop that serves unique sandwiches named after Las Vegas casinos and hotels, and another shop that has breakfasts and burgers for lunch. But I confess I go to more restaurants than fast food places, for the service and the better quality of food.

I know what you mean, but I do not live close by the small restaurants and I do not have a car. There is one small one by here that will deliver breakfast or lunch. We got them a few times. They are alright.I have had better and I have had worse too.Not all Chik Fil A's are that good. There is another small restaurant that has good food, but it is not really in walking distance from me and they are kind of high prized.

hi dfollin my favorite fast food place alas is no longer , they moved out and some new joint moved in.It was a Burger King and they had really great burger and so crispy french fries.my bestfriend Nelda and I used to go there every Wednesday evening for burgers and fries. Because I walked with my cane as I have a bad leg, the counter people were always bringing my burger ,fries and my soft drink to our table for me, they really had a great crew there that were thoughtful of their customers and always did nice little things for us all the time. Maybe it was because we were both elderly ladies but they were all very kind and nice to us and I really did enjoy their burgers so much. I hated to see them close that branch, and I never did learn why either.

That's great that they had great customer service. The one that is over here doesn't.Most of the employees don't speak english. It is too bad that the closed down and you do not know why.

Good afternoon.Generally speaking, I agree with what you said above, it is really important for us to choose the most convenient and healthy food during our daily life. As far as i' m concerned , i prefer to some home cooking rather than fried food. Anyway, each and every person has his own habit,it' s okay.
