Because of the fast changing world, stress has become art of our lives. But then, some people do not know yet if they are stressed or they just think they are stressed. Anyway, here are 9 symptoms of stress: 1. Tweaked Muscles or muscle pain in the neck or other parts of the body 2. Eye Twitching or eye fatigue. My doctor said that I can counter this by looking at a distance to relax my eyes. 3. Ragged Cuticles or nails 4. Cavities -- this is not only caused by bad hygiene but also by stress! So watch out :) 5. Rashes 6. Nausea 7. Sleepiness 8. Forgetfulness 9. Confusion So now, are you stressed? Hope this short enumeration helps in determine your condition :) Have a nice day everyone!

Yes i get under stress very often, the logic behind this i could find that i am always trying to do job dedicatedly whereas many or rather most of the people throw thier work responsibility here and thier, secodly my health is generaly not comfortable and this is resulting in almost all indications with me as u have defined above.

It's alright to be dedicated to work. That's the right kind of attitude. But sometimes, we have to be careful that work doesn't take a toll on our health :)

Did you get this from the yahoo page. I was reading the list that they gave the other day and I did notice that I had a few of them. I have noticed that my eye twitches a little bit when I'm stressed but not all the time. I know that I get really sleepy and that is something that I've been experiencing for the past few weeks especially today. It's hard not to be stressed when you have so many things to do and then those things wear you down.

I got this from an article online :) I'm not sure if it is from yahoo though. I love to sleep. Sometimes when I eye twitches, I'm not sure if it is from stress or it is just normal for me. lol!

Lately, I am stressed out and I am experiencing some of the symptoms you listed here. The major symptom I experienced that I had mistakenly suspected that it was a heart attack, was the muscle pain from neck to shoulder to the upper back and numbness on my left arm. I went to the hospital emergency for immediate treatment, but the doctor told me it was not a heart attack, only a muscular pain. Knowing that I didn't do any heavy physical activities, or any heavy lifting lately, I realized it was due to stress I am going through lately. Another symptom, I have been experiencing since 3 days ago until now, is sleepiness. I slept good during my 2 days free time, but still I felt drowsy from time to time inspite of my long and deep sleep from the last few days. Stress cannot be avoided in life. We just learn how to relax a bit after doing things. happy mylotting!

Wow, that is a very evident symptom. You must be really stressed. I haven't experience too much muscle pain due to stress. But it's good that it is nothing serious. Vacation would be the best remedy, I think :)

Actually, I am stressed extremely. But, like for everything else in the word, there is medication. But I still feel the effects of everything listed here excpet for the cuticles/nails, and the cavities thing. My doctor said basically that with all the stuff I have going on it is to be expected, and there's not much I can do other than to just try and relax at any moment possible, but there's not much time for relaxing in modern society. And it's kind of interesting how the symptoms of stress just causes more stress.

Surprisingly, I don't find myself stressed out other than sleepiness(which usually comes out of boredom, in my case.)

the answer is yes. Why? because of no.1. I always have muscle pain starts from my neck down to my lower back. Sometimes my eyes are easily to get tired. I also look at a distance and will feel sleepy after. What do you mean sleepiness, is this a feeling of very sleepy? because I do feel it as always. I have a feeling I need to do Yoga to relax my mind and to avoid stress. thanks for having this discussion I am now aware of the real signs of stress.

Hi, pierrella. I can say that I have a few of these symptoms. I know that I am stressed because I have a lot on my mind. And, I have plenty to do. I worry about almost everything, so I know that I am stressed.

Yep, I'm stressed. Right now it's because of finals and because my mother keeps telling me how tight on cash the family is. I'm trying to get work done for class while trying to find some random ways to earn money at the same time.

Well, for one, I didn't know stress can cause cavities. Lol. But yeah, I've been really stressed these past few days because of work and other personal issues. I guess it's already part of our lives. Even if you're not doing anything, you'd still feel stressed out just for the fact that you are not doing anything at all. Lol
