There is need of improvisation in the decision of umpire..mainly regarding LBW Many times umpire took a wrong decision of LBW which in result one team has to suffer of it..the direction of the game is change..because the foolishness decision of umpire..I'm not understand why the umpire doesn't referrals to the third umpire if there is any doubt in their mind of LBW.. They must go with third umpire to clear his doubt and makes correct decision.Do u ever saw the match in which umpire took the help of third umpire to make decision regarding LBW. I have been see many matches but i haven't see that umpire doing that..What is your opinion my friend do u agree with to make improvisation in this department..Please share with me..?

Hi friend, A third umpire is always available for help to two mpires available on ground. The decision for LBW is taken considering position of leg of the batsman and direction of the progression of the ball. Normally umpires on ground decide based on their judgement about weather the absense leg of batsman in front of wicket would have made ball hit the stumps. What you said is right, Even i have not seen any incidence where help of third umpire is sought for LBW decision. But there have been few wrong or let us say questinalbe decisions(LBW). I also feel when ground umpires are not sure, they should seek help of third umpire even for LBW decision.

DOn't think its in the laws of the game foran lbw decision to be conferred about. The only time when the third umpire or technology will be involved is where there is the referal system in place. When either the batting or bowling team questions the umpires decision, even then there has to be clear reason to contradict the on field umpire. I am not a big fan of technology in cricket, as what is the point of having an onfield umpire? The controversy gives people something to talk about.

Well, even in these IPL series i feel few of the LBW decisions are not fair. I dont know how these things are not taken into serious considerations and when a common people like us know better than umpire.
