Would you say you are an argumentative person.

Just the other day one of my friends decribed me as being a very argumentative person which I was quite shocked about. I would never put myself in that character category, I admit I do like to speak my mind but I certainly dont force my views on other people. At least I dont think I do. How would you describe the difference between a person who argues all the time and a person who speaks their mind openly. Is there any real difference. ?
