Of the Abrahamic religious timeline you first have Judaism that teaches they have the correct religion. Then coming on the scene is Christianity which teaches they have the correct religion. Then about 600 years later here comes Islam which teaches they are the correct religion. Then about 1200 years later Mormonism comes along teaching they have the correct religion. Some years after that you have the Jehovah Witnesses coming along saying they have the correct religion. To make it worse all of the above will say that the other religions at best are just miss lead to worst they are just lies. That is just the Abrahamic religions add to the list Asian religions, ancient religions, and Pagan religions, which all think they are the correct religion.

With this in mind, Jesus' words will be helpful to those who are trying to sort it all out, "By their fruits, you will recognize those men" What is the fruitage, or results of this belief or that? For example: Does it produce kind, loving people? Or war mongers?

Hi gewcew, I believe that the core teachings of all religions are the same. So it doesn't really matters which one are we following. But now-a-days, people market their religion, which is OK unless you are saying negative things about other religions. We humans have divided cities, states, countries etc. but at least we shouldn't divide GOD. At last, What I have to say is that, we should take the positives and neglect the negatives of all religions. Thanks.

Nowadays we have gotten even more new ones that believe they are right, like Raëlism and Scientology. As time goes on, the old religious books fail, and have more faults, so the newer ones come along to try and take the people who have little faith in the earlier versions. I wonder how long this will go on for until we can finally see that they're all just full of $#!+?

If we talk about religion, it will never end.I was a moslem cause I believe with it, no matter what people will said about it.It's the best for me, maybe not for You and I don't care. That's why our prophet Muhammad make a quote "My religion is mine and Your's is Your's. Let the dog keep barking as long as it didn't bite me, that what I'm teach to my self about something or someone bothering or try to judge something I live or believe.

Religions are man made... they will always be that way... None of those Gods made man make "religion". Every religion gives each man the freedom of choice... Therefore Man chose the way to thank and praise and serve their God/s. I believe that all these religions really try to say is one thing. That is, that there is something greater than us, a super entity. That is the one and only commonality between all the religions in the world. Whether it be God, Allah, Buddah, Jah, Mother Nature, Energy etc. They are all beyond us and far above us mentally, physically, spiritually.

I often wondered if there is so many diffeent religions, which one is the right one. I mean we talking God here. So why so many different versions. I can't say anyone is wrong, because I think it is where you are brought up and what your parents teach you as to religion. Everyone has his own thoughts on it, and his own beliefs. i ahve gone to many different kinds of churches, it takes about half way through the service for me to know if I am in the right place or should get up and leave. Depending on what they are talking about. It all boils down to the same thing I think, just some has different ways of putting it. Though I believe the Islam is totally different belief than the christian view. Can I myself say which is righ or wrong NO! The only way we will know if we are right is the day we have to stand before God, and that is when we will know if what we believed was what was right.

all religions to me good and proper. every religion teaches for good. there is no religion that teaches to something bad. I've studied several religions, my conclusion after studying several religions is that every religion wants people to always obey and should not be doing God's prohibition. every person has the right to choose their religion. people choose a religion must have their own reasons, which would they choose as they believed. trust and believe are the keys to choose a religion.

I think every religion claims to be the right religion.I don't go by religion,I study my bible and just go by what the bible says.Religions have man made doctrines.I suggest for anyone to go by what the bible really says.Jesus taught the gospel of the Kingdom of God.

Hello gew., Its a natural way that in what religion you belong you stand it as a correct or a true one. Its a nonsense maybe if you be enter in a group or a religion which is incorrect or wrong. Its true that many religions arises now to have salvation on judgment day. Now its up to you or the individual to search which is the real one by asking questions to them why they claim that they are the one and are there answers based on the bible.

It doesn't really matter what religion you have. What matters is that you serve God with all your heart. Since I was a kid,I firmly believe that all religions have one God, we just have different names and interpretations of Him. Over zealous members tend to exaggerate their religions and the flaws of others, that is why we have that thinking that we have the right religion. and in all honesty,no offense but I find that new religions that claim that they are correct religion seems to bogus to me. Like they established the religion to earn money (through collections). That is my opinion only! The motive of the believers differ from that of the "establisher".

religion is simply your guide in life. all religions have the same message and that is to live a good life. though they believe in different higher beings, they profess almost the same teachings although brought about in various ways. Who or what to believe depends on how you want to live your life. religion is an aspect that brought about wars because of difference in belief. i say we respect one's views of life, believe what we choose to believe and stick to it.

I think all of us are just pulling together the best conclusion we can based on our individual knowledge and experiences. after all, we're only human. there's no way ANY of us can fully grasp the universe. so while I so believe in my religion, I know there's a bigger story to it than what I can grasp in my small human mind.

Of couse. Everyboy says they are the right ones. In the end all of them can be written på some crazy man who dont know what he is doing. Its the same if you ask people how they think a person should act like. All of them will say: Like i do.
