Back in elementary. We used to play this with my classmates. It's jumping through it. Boys and girls any gender would do as long as you jump pretty high. I just love doing it. We do it doing break times and after lunch. It's funny to see guys jump so high and all...

Yeah I do! Are you familiar with 10 20? It's a garter game too. If we already got bored playing Chinese Garters, we play 10 20. I love playing those games. Oh how I miss my childhood. We call tumbling as cheats.

It's uhm.. The garters are all tied up to make a loop? The Two players will hold it through their feet then goes high each level until they reach the number 5(these two players hold it through their waist). Sorry I'm not good at describing.

Yeah i love chinese garters too, hahaha, i remembered my elementary days.. i was good at it though it was a tiresome game LOL.

What do you mean by Garters? When I hear Garters I am thinking the thing that women wear at their wedding.

I played that game too! I was considered one of the best players cause I can reach up the to the highest height my classmates couldnt reach. I was an addict to it and I even had an accident because of it. I can play chinese garter by myself and I have to use chairs to hold the rubber rope for me. haha! That's the time I had an accident when the one of the chairs feel and I hit my head on the floor.

I was also a fan of it back in elementary, but in high school I wasn't playing it anymore. I was not a pro but I considered myself a 'good' player. Hehehe. I almost broke my neck when I attempted to reach the "viva". But playing chinese garter has been a great experience for me and it has been an invaluable part of my grade school days.

of course i have tried playing chinese garters.. i was addicted to it from my first grade to 6th grade... though i wore skirt for uniform still i played it... this was so fun.. i can't forget those years i have played this... :-)

Hi yresh,
I do remember this game way back elementary days. But I'm more of a watcher, rather than a player. I get so amazed by my classmates who could jump that high! They even did some cartwheels when the garter is way too high to jump. I even participated in the game, but sadly, I could jump only through the waist level. I'm not really sporty and active in games during elementary, I just loved watching them play.

I tried to play this game, but I have a hard time because i am heavy. So I played it for a short time only..
