I think that during the summer time the best choice that a person can make as far as drinks go is to drink water. The reason that I feel this way is that water in and of itself helps you to stay hydrated. When you add juices and mixed drinks like Kool-Aid into the equation, you aren't getting the same kind of hydration that you are getting from pure water. However, if you want to have some flavor to your water, you can squeeze a little bit of lemon juice into your glass of water.

Juice is bad for people; it is full of sugar and offers no real health benefit other than vitamin c; which is better absorbed via eating the whole fruit instead of just drinking the juice. Pure H20 is best for re-hydration.

I also love juice especially during summer season but I prefer making my own juice. I like it that way cause they are healthier and I can be sure of sanitation. Sometimes buying juice outside is not very good cause you dont exactly know where the water came from. Sometimes they look good but looks can be deceiving. Speaking of juice, I am going to make myself and my husband some watermelon slash. Juice up! lol

For me the best drink to beat the summer heat is water. It is the ultimate 'thirst quencher' According to a health book, it's best to drink pure water rather than flavored ones like juices, softdrinks/sodas and the like because these have ingredients in them that are not good for the body (e.g. sugar and other chemicals). That's why I prefer water over other beverages because it has no side effects (just make sure that it's pure and safe).

I enjoy lemonade, but my husband is a pepsi drinker. I have often called him a pepsiholic.

i enjoy juice too...but water is different to juice when you drink juice it will still take few hours for it to digest.... good when your hungry but when you drink water it automatically cleans your body and got out after a while.. its better to take jusice than to drink softdrinks...specially this summer.. but dont forgot to take water too:) anyway my favorite juice are kiwi, tomato and strawberry juice:)

Not so much for me. I like to drink water with either a little bit of lime juice in it or ice cold and poured over a cucumber slice.

I think I drink equal portions of water and juices throughout the day during summertime.

getting your daily requirements of fruits and vegetables can be inconvenient .especially when you are on to go. you cant eat a grapefruit for break fast while drinking to work ,and watermelon wont exactly fit in your gym bag for a post workout snack.with a little help from blender ,however you can whip up a satisfying summertime smoothie thats chock full of vitamins and minerals.smoothie provide a tasty new vehicle for old favourite like carrot juice, wheat germ and plain yogurt.plus a light and refreshing smoothie wont weigh you down while working out in warm weather.best of all smoothie are 100 percent custmized and use fresh whole ingredients.and extra such as carbo or milk powder to impact a gourmet flavor to your concoction
