Is jewelry necessary for party?

I always wear jewlry when attending party.I think a party means gown or night dress,shining jewelry,handsome gentleman and lady,good wine and music...But my friend doesn't think so.She insists that it is not necessary to wear jewelry in party.Yesterday we attended a party.I worn my new jewelry which is bought on website called aokeshen while she wore jeans and sneakers attending the party.We argued a lot, I think she is crazy!Yes,party is a serious occasion,do you think it is necessary to wear jewelry on party?

Welcome to myLot. I am gonna directly address your question here. If you have courage and confidence enough to go beyond trivial thinking patterns of ordinary men and women then there is no need to wear those jewelry. Simplicity is a jewelry in itself. Very few people seem to understand that properly, yet we have read it several times in those books of motivations. Now, in a party where everybody is wearing jewelry, you will also be expected to wear some. But you think that if you don't it would look so odd. But, think about this in a little different way. Do those jewelries signify anything about what kinda person you are? Do they represent you as a good human being or as a true believer of God? If the answer is yes then there is every reason you should be serious about them. But, if the answer is a NO, then why even care about them? A charming and pleasant personality is the best jewelry one can wear. Thanks
